Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah, you’re still delicious, but I’m a little tired of latkes.
But that’s ok: Han Solo is here to help. Thanks to Mama Nice for that awesome graphic.
And you know what never gets old? Free stuff! Today: another book collection, this one courtesy of Simon & Schuster, who have compiled a bunch of December books for your reading pleasure. All you have to do is leave a comment, and I’ll select a winner each day. These contests are open to international winners, and I will do my best to ship this week, provided people send me their addresses promptly.
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. If anything, my gift is exceptional support of the United States Postal Service (Happy Hanukkah, US Mail Carriers!). Oy is just Yo backwards. Do not taunt happy fun ball. Not valid where prohibited by law or by that huge guy who stands at the door and decides who is cute enough to get in. That guy sucks sometimes. Do not write below this line. Falling rock. Still Slippery When Wet. No, that doesn’t get old.
Ahoy! Contest the fifth!
On the Fifth Night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches Gave to Me: A big ol’ selection of some December 2010 and holiday romances, with something for every reading taste: some to keep, and some to give to friends (or keep them all, I won’t tell).
Just leave a comment below, and tell me which one you’d read, or which one you’d give away, and you’re entered to win. Comments close in 24 hours, but fear not, there’s another book – paper or digital – giveaway coming tomorrow and another chance to win. Because Hanukkah lasts for eight crazy nights, and you need things to read or read on during the holidays, right? Right. Of course.
Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Reading!

Probably the LLM one. Last books of hers that I read, I enjoyed a lot (after giving her another chance after being very meh about her). And what girl wouldn’t enjoy a cowboy in her stocking?
Keep: My Fair Succubi because, woah! that title
Give Away Before Anyone Knows I Read It: My Fair Succubi because, woah! that title.
I would read Deep Kiss of Winter first because I have been cheaping out and waiting for it in paperback and it is killing me. I love me some Kresley Cole.
I’d give away the Laura Griffin because for some reason I just don’t click with her books. To read I’d pick one of the remaining books to random since they all look interesting.
I would read Aching for Always, because even though I usually dislike time travel it looks quite interesting, and I would give My Fair Succubi to my best friend because it looks right up her alley.
I’ve been wanting to read most of them. But i will pick Laura Griffin first then followed by the rest 🙂
I know you aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover, but, I really like the cover of Linda Lael Miller “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”.
I’d probably read all of them, but I would most definitely read the Sherrilyn Kenyon one, because she rocks.
I haven’t read a Linda Lael Miller book in ages, so I’d probably start there.
I’d read the Kresley Cole, I love the cover!
oh, I would no doubt read them all; which one I start with will depend on my mood when they get home (and of course on reading the back cover, a couple of random spots in the middle, and probably the last chapter.) But I’m kind of enjoying Jill Myles’s Succubi, so I might start with that….
I would read A Hellion In Her Bed by Sabrina Jeffries, because I’ve read everything else she’s written, but not that one yet.
I’d read One Night of Scandal. I read the first book and can’t wait to read this one. Pick me!!!
I would probably read Deep Kiss of Winter first. Been wanting that book for a long time now but couldn’t bring my self to plunk down the cash!
The Kresley Cole book—I totally want that book!
I’d definitely be reading the Linda Lael Miller book first. I love her stuff. Thanks so much for this contest!
I’d be all over the Gena Showlater books, I love her. And I’d find deserving homes to share my bounty with. Love this site!
Maybe the Hellion in Her Bed to start, and then just keep going until I finish all the new books!
I would probably read the Kresley Cole but only after I ran whoop and hollerin’ all over the house in joy. 🙂
I’d read the Kresley Cole novella. Because even though I read it before, I know I’ll enjoy it again. She’s just that awesome!
I would read My Fair Succubi OF COURSE! Is there any doubt about how great that book will be? I think not!
I just bought Ecstacy in Darkness, so I would share that one with my niece.
I would read Unforgivable. And Giveaway Deep Kiss of Winter!!

I’d like to read A Hellion in her Bed, because not only does he have that fabulous unbuttoned-yet-still-tucked-in shirt, but he’s wearing boots on her bed. And being a hellion, I’ll bed he’s stepped in manure in those. Seems awfully inconsiderate. I’m hopin gher yells at him for it.
Wow, I’ve read several of these… am reading one right now. Great collection S&S.
I would probably put the London, Jeffries, and Myles books in a row, close my eyes and pick.
And once I have read all, I would share with my circle of romance reading friends. We learned to share while in university and in our first years working, and tend to keep up the habit. Then on to the local library if there is anything left.
I’d probably start with Ecstasy in Darkness since Amazon’s recommendation engine seems to really, really want me to read it.
I would read I’ll Be Home for Christmas because I’m in the mood for some X-Mas Romance.
I’d read the Frost first.
I’d definitely be re-reading Sabrina Jeffries then moving on to Karen Hawkins because I love her!
I’d read the Kresley Cole, because I’ve been curious about her stuff for a while.
I would love to read Jill Myles’ My Fair Succubi – I’ve been waiting for this one to come out to read the series. Thanks!
I’d probably read the Sabrina Jeffries first. I need some new authors and my local library skimps on romance!
I’ve been dying to read One Night in Scotland!
I’d go for Julia London because the guy in the picture looks like Rick Springfield. I was in love with him when I was young (circa “General Hospital”) and always wanted to be Jessie’s Girl so that Rick Springfield could want to be with me. So I’d pick Julia London, put myself in the shoes of the heroine, and finally get it one with Rick Springfield for once and for all!!!!!!!
Kindle
P.S. Yes, that’s my real name, and I asked Amazon for a discount on the Kindle since I had to grow up with such a weirdo name and they never wrote me back. I wish I knew how to quit them.
Great giveaway! My first book would be My Fair Succubi; been waiting for that one. The first one I’d gift would be the Linda Lael Miller book…since my sister has already claimed it, should I win!
Ecstasy in Darkness! I’d read Deep Kiss of Winter next, even though I’ve already read it already. The Sabrina Jeffries, Sandy Blair and Karen Hawkins would follow shortly.
No question about it- I’d read a Highlander for Christmas first. Yes, please!
Oh, definitely Aching for Always. I want to find out how she keeps that dress up. Double-sided tape?
I would read the Janiene Frost. I keep seeing her great covers places and I still haven’t read one.
