Blazing Trilogy Giveaway

Book CoverI have a really fun giveaway today, so set fire to your pants, it’s Blaze Trilogy time! This Valentine’s Day, Harlequin put together a trade-sized 3-in-1 of brand new Blaze romances: The Blaze Collection.

It includes three new novels: Her Sexy Valentine by Stephanie Bond, Play with Me by Leslie Kelly, and The Charmer by Kate Hoffmann.

Note: I’ve read Play With Me and liked it a lot – very light and quite hot. So winning a copy along with two other new books? Boo to the Yah with a side of Hells Yeah.

So I’ve got 10 copies to give away. Leave a comment here and tell me your favorite way to indulge yourself. I’ll pick ten winners at random. Nine will receive a copy of the book, and one lucky winner will receive the grand prize: a copy of the trilogy and a tin of chocolate covered Oreos decorated for Valentine’s Day*.

*Due to the fact that, scientifically speaking, chocolate melts, I have to restrict the chocolate prize to the US and Canada only. But if the winner chosen is outside the US or Canada, I’ll come up with something decadent that doesn’t melt. Promise.

Standard disclaimers: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway aside from the opportunity to type stuff on the internet. The review copy of Play With Me was sent to me by Leslie Kelly for my review usage and was not compensation for this giveaway. Neither was the pony she bought me. Wait, was I not supposed to mention that? His name is Sparkles II. Your milage may vary. Many bags look alike. Mind the gap. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.™

A few good romance novels, light rain outside, an empty house (I live with my in-laws, although the husband can stay so long he can give me a few hours to myself), and some chocolates and something sparkly to drink.

  2. Jessica G. says:

My favorite way to indulge myself (at least this week) is hop on down to my local favorite restaurant that I frequent often (I’ve needed a lot of indulging lately), get a drink that, oh yes, is named after me, to help wash down a one pound chimichanga while watching Cash Cab with the other patrons. Then for dessert, a nice cup of coffee with a freshly baked chocolate lave cake (not with that icky syrup inside, but gooey melted truffle).

I’m really excited about this bundle! I pass on the Blaze bundles just because six books is just a little too many for me, but three is perfect! I really hope Harlequin does this every month.

  3. molly_rose says:

Bubble bath, lacy lingerie, romance novel, and then after I’m all hot and bothered, I call my boyfriend over 😉 Oh, and tell him, “Don’t forget the pie!”

  4. Megs says:

I take myself out for dinner (with a good book to keep me company at the table, naturally) and then go to a movie. Most people might find that sad, but going out and just enjoying myself without having to worry about anyone else is the definition of indulgence for me.

  5. Sarah says:

Most often, I indulge myself with a Blaze, actually! It is far and away my favorite category. Or with chocolate covered, peanut butter filled pretzels from Trader Joes.

  6. Sherri says:

Spend the morning in bed with a great book, mounds of pillows and rain falling making it cozy and comfy.

  7. cyclops8 says:

I indulge with a mani/pedi.  If I have a little extra cash to spend I’ll get a massage.

  8. K.C. says:

I love the beach so one way I like to indulge myself is taking a trip to the beach with a couple of romance novels; lying on the beach in my bathing suit + a beautiful sunny day + my favorite romance novels = best day ever!

  9. Kat says:

I indulge myself usually by picking out a restaurant I don’t normally eat in because of budget restrictions. 🙂 I grab a friend or two and we’re off for an enjoyable evening.

  10. Joder says:

I indulge myself by making cinnamon hot cocoa while reading a book in front of the fireplace.  That’s heaven to me.  And I’m really hoping to win because these books so great and it’s my birthday today and I’m hoping that will give me extra brownie points.

  11. Christina says:

    Dark chocolate and coffee. Yum.

  12. Robin L says:

On a day (or night since I seem to be in nocturnal vampire mode right now) when I should be reading some of the 19 (huge) books I was assigned for this semester (not including the ones I need for my abundance of research papers), I am going to enjoy curling up on my bed and watching both BBC Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth, need I say more, and a great story an additional bonus) and My Fair Lady.  Then I am going to indulge some more with some Suzanne Brockmann books, perhaps All Through the Night (I <3 Cole Porter…and Jules…and Jules with Robin…and I cannot hate someone with my name, so just Robin, too) and Gone Too Far.  That sounds like a perfect day!

  13. Dianna says:

Dark Chocolate, a bottle of pink champagne and a Doris Day movie

  14. Carol says:

My biggest indulgence would be a hot romance novel, bubble bath in my two-person tub with mug of hot beverage … and my significant other nearby to enjoy the benefits of said hot romance!

  15. Angie says:

I’m off on Fridays so that’s the one morning I have the house all to myself. I make some coffee, dump in my flavored creamer of the moment and climb back under the covers and spend a couple of hours reading and not worrying about anything around the house that needs to get done!

  16. krsylu says:

Indulgences…Jenny Crusie novels, M&Ms;, and Coca-Cola. Throw in a foot massage from my sweetie? Aaaahhhhhh.

  17. Jessica L says:

I indulge when a new book comes out that I’m dying to read.  I curl up somewhere comfy with tasty treats and read until it’s done -with a few bathroom breaks for the pooch.

  18. rednikki says:

My favorite way to indulge myself is to get in a big bubblebath with my other half, strawberries and whipped cream, and a nice chilled bottle of proscesso. Mmmmm!

  19. Sharon K says:

What I do to indulge myself, would be to curl up on the couch, listen to some good music and read a good book.  But since my husband has retired that doesn’t happen very ofter any more,
especially during the winter.  Come on Summer!

  20. Amanda says:

My indulgence, a pint of dark chocolate ice cream and a Lifetime Movie…not one of the tragic ones, but one of the impossible romance ones.

  21. Annmarie says:

A day in jammies with an unlimited supply of books and snacks.

  22. Stephanie says:

Indulgence? A bottle (yes, a bottle) of good wine, a good book and a cozy spot on the couch. Or trade the book for knitting and the couch for a coffeeshop night with the girls.

  23. Jamie says:

A day spent in bed, in my PJs, reading.  Which usually equals a book or three.

A glass of good wine in the evenings.

Some time at the spa is my ultimate indulgence, saved up for when I’m being really decadent.

  24. Beau says:

Hot sun, slightly cooler water, a good book or three and some chocolate. Oh and something cold and icy to drink.

    Man I need a vacation…

    Beau

  25. A weekend spent home in my pjs with a couple of books, video and pc games, some chocolate, some Ben and Jerry’s or Haagen Daaz, and good coffee. And takeout when I need sustenance.

  26. Diana says:

I love a really good, scrumptious meal followed by a nap.  Not very active, but very indulgent indeed. 🙂

  27. Tegan says:

My favorite way to indulge myself is a nice cup of coffee (type varying), a sweet treat (scones or donuts need apply), and a great book. Usually a paranormal or regular romance.

  28. Pat L. says:

Wow, I dont ever think I have seen over 300 comments posted anywhere. LOL. It took me forever to get to bottom to post. HEEHEE.

My indulgences would be to just sit down and read an entire book without any interruptions, get a fancy take out meal, or get some decadent dessert and watch a good movie.

  29. Lisa says:

I have a young child who’s learning to walk so I haven’t really sat down in quite some time…the house to myself, a comfy chair and a good book sounds like a dream.  Throw in a pedicure and a nap and that could possibly be my heaven.

  30. Natalie Arloa says:

What counts as an indulgence for me is anything I used to do more of but don’t do much for one reason or another. Some days that might be going outdoor ice skating by myself, or turning off all the lights in the basement except for the Christmas lights in my husband’s music studio and dancing to the iPod, or the classic bath and novel (especially an already-read novel that I intend to only read the “good parts” but get sucked into the story like usual and have to keep refilling the tub with fresh hot water). Last week, I went to one of my husband’s gigs (rock and roll widows, I mean wives, don’t go to every show) and indulgently danced my ass off to great Cajun music—I’d been waiting for years for them to have a gig where other people wanted to dance as much as I did. It felt goood.

  31. Mariska says:

I’m going to have my homemade Devil’s cake, with a glass of milk. and some of brand new books from my Favorite Authors 🙂

  32. briony says:

I am afraid that I require a series of indulgences if I am going to consider myself truly indulged…
Indulgence #1: Child stays at grandma’s house for the night.
Indulgence #2: A three or four course meal – including wine and after dinner coffee – at a restaurant that has real linen tablecloths, a ban on highchairs, and does not require its servers to wear pieces of flair or sing happy birthday.
Indulgence #3: Smoking hot accessorized sex at full volume (child is at grandma’s, remember? and that bottle of massage oil is just calling my name).
Indulgence #4: Passing out naked (because child is STILL at grandma’s and will not be surprising me with an early morning request for Dora and a bowl of O’s) and then not waking up until after 8 a.m. the next morning.
Seriously, this routine has been a marriage saver for me. Forget birthday presents, honey, just INDULGE me!

  33. lorenet says:

Reading, followed by a nap, followed by more reading.

  34. romantic@heart says:

I love to indulge myself by reading leisurely while soaking in a loooong, hot bubble bath, a tall glass of sweet tea on the side.

  35. kristal says:

    Indulgences……..

sleeping in late, napping in the afternoon, reading a good romance novel, catching up on my soap operas from the week, mexican food, oreo ice cream and/or a good margarita.

  36. Trippinoutmysoul says:

I’ve had to come up with new ways to indulge myself since we moved to Kadena Air Base in Japan…Stateside I’d sneak out the back door when my husband got home from work and go driving- loud music, cold soda, wind in my hair 🙂 Okinawa is a small island and traffic is pretty thick, so nowdays I usually end up on an oceanside cliff surrounded by huge flowers than seem to bloom year long. The music is different- waves crashing and birds calling; the can of soda has writing on it I can’t even begin to understand; the wind in my hair smells different, but it’s just as relaxing. So ‘cheers’ to adaptation!

spamword hand23- 23 cans of DP on the wall, hand one down, pass it around…

  37. Ashlee says:

Let’s see—I call in sick to work and then my credit card and Amazon have a long and fulfilling date.  I make myself a bowl (small pot, whatever) of broccoli cheese soup, reread a book I have memorized ten times over (Devil in Winter, of course) and then fall asleep on the couch with my dog stealing ONLY HALF of my pillow.

  38. Mitzi H. says:

My favorite way to indulge myself is a day at the beach with my sand chair, cooler and a great romance novel.

  39. Paul says:

Mmmmm….cheese pizza and french fries with tartar sauce and a bottle of Riesling.  Don’t judge me. 🙂

  40. Mara says:

A squishy chair, a cup of tea and a good book.  And some knitting.
