I have a really fun giveaway today, so set fire to your pants, it’s Blaze Trilogy time! This Valentine’s Day, Harlequin put together a trade-sized 3-in-1 of brand new Blaze romances: The Blaze Collection.
It includes three new novels: Her Sexy Valentine by Stephanie Bond, Play with Me by Leslie Kelly, and The Charmer by Kate Hoffmann.
Note: I’ve read Play With Me and liked it a lot – very light and quite hot. So winning a copy along with two other new books? Boo to the Yah with a side of Hells Yeah.
So I’ve got 10 copies to give away. Leave a comment here and tell me your favorite way to indulge yourself. I’ll pick ten winners at random. Nine will receive a copy of the book, and one lucky winner will receive the grand prize: a copy of the trilogy and a tin of chocolate covered Oreos decorated for Valentine’s Day*.
*Due to the fact that, scientifically speaking, chocolate melts, I have to restrict the chocolate prize to the US and Canada only. But if the winner chosen is outside the US or Canada, I’ll come up with something decadent that doesn’t melt. Promise.
Standard disclaimers: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway aside from the opportunity to type stuff on the internet. The review copy of Play With Me was sent to me by Leslie Kelly for my review usage and was not compensation for this giveaway. Neither was the pony she bought me. Wait, was I not supposed to mention that? His name is Sparkles II. Your milage may vary. Many bags look alike. Mind the gap. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.™
Comments close in 24 hours. Ready, set, go!

Under a blanket with a romance or watching a romantic comedy while eating something indulgent. Or when I need to actually escape outside of my house, I love sitting in a darkened coffeehouse with my computer, writing away.
spam word – coming69…Don’t think I really need to expand on that one. 🙂
I indulhe myself by going on Book Buying shopping spree’s, making cocktails and then read all night until the new books are finished. Nothing like putting your life on hold and just read read read until you can’t anymore, only to wake up ridiculously late and read some more.
Drives the flatmates crazy, but it gets my batteries reloaded like nothing else.
A steamy book and a long, hot soak in my antique claw-foot tub.
Recipe for indulging:
Baking
Licking the bowl (hur hur). And the beaters. And the spatula I used to scrape the batter/dough out of the bowl.
Eating whatever was baked
Re-reading comfort books while doing the latter two activities
Knitting while watching TV
and Not going outside when it’s raining and I don’t have to
spamword: read63….I have certainly read some books at least 63 times
My own hubby is gone nearly all the time, so indulgence would be little cabin in the woods by ourselves. Fresh caught fish grilled for dinner and something chocolate for dessert. Outdoor hot tub stargazing with beer in hand. Lovely.
A lot of similarities here 🙂
Mine is leisurely browse at bookstore with no purchase guilt—> home to quiet house—> comfy chair + soft blanket + glass of wine + deep, dark chocolate + cat on lap + a great book.
Second choice would be a professional massage and/or soak in a spa tub.
Hours in a bookstore. It’s impossible for me to spend less than an hour in one anyway, but when I want to indulge myself, I spend hours in The Tattered Cover in Denver. Then, once I’ve made my purchases, I go home, put on La Boheme and read for the rest of the day. *sigh* If only college didn’t get in the way of that.
Reading a good book while curled up in a blanket while eating any kind of ice cream!
I actually JUST had an awesomely indulgent Sunday where I went with sister 4 wedding dress fitting(hers not mine!) and lunch, then came home and spent the rest of the day in bed watching tv, reading An Angel For Emily and eating chocolate almonds!
Sheer perfection and looking forward to doing it again when I finish writing this latest novella.
clean, crisp, white sheets on the bed, my fat, squashy pillows and duvet, sleeping in late, really spicy Thai food when I wake up, ice cream with ribbons of caramel running through and a pile of books to dip into……….
Being stretched out on the couch with a good book, and hubby at the other end rubbing my feet…ah, bliss.
Reading. Reading anywhere at all.
I’‘ve not done it (yet), but one of these days I’m going to have one of those rally posh hotel special weekends, complete with spa treatments, room service and luxurious solitude. It can be across the country, or just across town, depending on my mood, finances and commitments. I’ll bring in a pile of books to read, and have the remote handy in case I want to watch tv, but otherwise I’ll just wallow around and let people do everything for me.
Sigh. Someday. It’s going to be great!
Diane :o)
Definitely pj’s, hot chocolate and a boatload of John Hughes films. They just go hand in hand…in hand. 🙂
I indulge myself by plopping onto the corner of the couch with one of the books from my TBR pile. Essential accoutrements are a cup of my favorite tea, a quilt, and at least one lapcat.
Snuggling, a chick flick (or chick lit, if there is no snuggling available) and chocolate. What could be better?
taking a nice, hot shower, putting on my most comfortable pair of pj’s and bath and body works slipper socks, lighting a scented candle, listening to music, and crawling under the covers with a good book. until last week i would have added a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (probably Karmel Sutra), but now i will leave that to someone will 10 working fingers. (maybe when my pinkie is healed, i’ll go back to my B&J obsession, but until then…)
Favorite even though the kids are now old enough to listen when I tell them to leave me alone:
a 45 minute time-out for Mom in the bathroom with some Hershey Kisses and a book. I even drop trou and sit on the throne in case someone opens the door and finds out that I am not really using it for the purpose it was intended. Downside? Numb legs from elbow-knee compression.
I like to get manicures. I used to bite my nails really badly, and now I’ve managed to quit, so having nails long enough to get a manicure is like this little badge of honor for me. And I like the feeling that someone’s lavishing attention on my hands.
My favorite way to indulge myself is to curl up in front of a roaring fireplace with a good book and read myself into a whole new world.
I indulge myself way too often but the best ways are with new shoes, a new romance book (preferably Nora Roberts), and some hot side action from my fiance…not necessarily in that order either.
Hmmm…Indulge myself…
I send the kids outside, grab a book and sit by the fire with cookies baked by my husband. Oh yes- he’s the official baker around here. Sometimes there is also coffee involved. Which he doesn’t make because he’s the Dad and doesn’t require coffee. Only Moms require coffee to keep from falling asleep next to the fire with an unread book. Ummm… I got a little off track here.
Book. Fire. Coffee. Cookies. Heaven. Yep, that covers it.
Step one: wait until my long-distance partner is coming to visit me.
Step two: purchase chocolate and appropriate libations.
Step three: after *cough* other activities in bed with LDP, eat chocolate together under the covers while watching “Away We Go”—in my opinion one of the most romantic movies ever—on my tiny dorm telly.
I don’t get to do this very much, what with our living far apart, so I need lots of romance novels to get me through the nights between visits. (My favorites so far are “Lord of Scoundrels” and “Goddess of Spring,” both SBTB recommendations—thanks for that!)
My favorite way to indulge myself is to lock myself in the bathroom with a nice hot bubble bath, candles, a glass of wine, and a great book, while blissfully ingoring the kids and hubby!!!!!!!!!!!!
I buy fancy chocolate once in a while and yes, I will eat the entire thing in one sitting no matter the size of said chocolate. 😉
I also indulge in fancy tea, but thats not nearly as fun as the chocolate!
A pedi/mani…some Spanish white wine…and a good book in a comfy chair by a window full of sunlight.
Favorite indulgences, caramel latte, mushroom risotto, Julia Quinn Bridgertons – not all at the same time.
A latte, a baked good of some sort (usually chocolate depending on my mood), and something really good to read:)
To indulge myself I usually brew a nice cup of tea – REAL tea, no teabags!
To go with this I will want something nice to nibble on. When my sweet tooth is in the ascendant, there will be something with chocolate in it. And when I want something that is not sweet-tasting, I usually go for sushi.
And then I settle down to read.
This weekend I am planning on making a chocolate cream pie, just for me, just how I want it. Getting out a blank canvas and paint with total abandoned bliss. I am no artist but I love to do it anyway. All the while singing to my favorite music.
I’m a simple gal. Cup of coffee, chocolate covered raisins, and a marathon of Cary Grant movies does the trick. : )
My favorite way to indulge myself is to grab a good book and a vanilla milkshake and find a comfortable place (preferrably outside if the weather cooperates) to just relax and sink into the story.
my favorite way to indulge myself is to have a bag of Original plain Potato Chips with a tub of Dill Pickle dip and sit outside on the swing in the gazebo tent and listen to the birds chirping and reading a book.
Homemade tortillas (we cook w/ lard in my house, my gourmet chef hubby is the devil!!!), refried beans and cheese, a good romance novel (sex and a stack of bodies), and a cherry coke… in my jammies. Super low maintenance here…
I marathon old TV shows/movies from my childhood, especially ones I maybe only saw once or don’t remember most of. Half of the fun is searching them down on the internet when you can’t remember the title, the characters’ names, or half of the plot.
My favorite way to indulge myself is to stay in bed late with a cup of tea and some scones and my knitting while watching home decorating shows on tv. Can I have a book now please?? 🙂 I love your blog!
Hot chocolate spiked with Irish Cream, a good book, comfy pyjamas, and no distractions. Doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, mmm.
An afternoon alone in the house with a fun craft project, some good music or a favorite movie or a fun book, and chocolate-covered raisins.
reading and chocalates and beef jerky lol
