The Bitchery’s favorite endangered North American mammal displays a distinctly larcenous streak in this video:
That giant schnozzle fisheye effect? Love it.

*huge grin* Yeah, that’s pretty much how my own Bebé behaves. Aren’t the oh so cute? (I’m a besotted momma, what can I say?)
I saw this on CNN last night. Those black-footed ferrets are certainly getting some press lately. Good for them.
That is so adorable.
I love them, they are so cute.
OK. No fair making ferrets look like Siamese cats that look like ferrets!
All that’s missing are the blue eyes.
These little guys definitely have a larcenous (sp?) sense of humor, though.
Thanks for the laugh.
Awwwww….Thank goodness the Bitchery picked this adorable critter as its totem. I’d have a much harder time feeling warm and fuzzy about the snail darter (though the endangered Florida gopher turtles are kind of cute).
Thanks for sharing!
My beloved Portnoy was a terrible sneaker thief. Tiny little ferret dragging my brother’s stinky running shoe. Too funny for words.
It says the video’s no longer available?
Huh, it works when I follow the link to Youtube, but not the embedded vid. Weird! But what a cute video!
Video’s still working for me, but I wonder if that’s because it’s stored in my cache? Hmmm.
Worked for me. I understand those covered microphones are known in the industry as “cat on a stick.”
Too cute. Shall we vote the BFF as SB mascot?
The impact that this blog has had just amazes me. From introducing us to new authors, filtering out the bad ones, righting the wrongs in publishing, and even giving some press to an endangered animal. Rock on, ladies. You’re making the world a better place.
