Help A Bitch Out - SOLVED!

Help a Bitch Out: Now This One is Different

You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This time, we’re not looking for a book – we’re hunting a cover model. Read on:

I’m looking for the guy in this cover so I can use him as a graphic. I *think* he’s on istockphoto because I’ve seen him on several covers from different e-publishers ( i.e. I don’t believe he’s an EC model), but I CANNOT find him. Someone suggested that I ask the Smart Bitches, so I was wondering if you—or any of the Smart Bitches—would have any clue how to find him?

Help!!

Thanks,
Crystal

  1. Seriously, if anyone could help me find this guy, it would be MOST appreciated.

  2. The istockphoto # of that photo is 2003917. The photograher is listed as mpruitt, and his portfolio contains numerous other pics of Mr. Handsome. You can log on to istock and send the photographer a message to inquire as to his identity. However, technically, if you’ve purchased the royalty contract through istock for the photo, contacting the model is not necessary. The photo belongs to the photographer, and the model likely signed a release and was paid a fee.

  3. All I want is the photo for graphics. I don’t need to speak to the model directly since I can buy it from istock 🙂

    Thank you, Carrie!

  4. My god Crystal. How did you do that?

  5. Yeah. *red face* I mean you, Carrie.

  6. Coincidence. I just happened to be looking for pics of interracial couples on istock a few months ago. There weren’t too many to choose from and I thought maybe that was the same couple. Did a quick search, voila.

I have my Smart Bitch title for a reason 😉

  7. Did a quick search

Instead of working on the ms. Ts, ts. 😉

  8. Of course instead of working on my ms!! That should be the subtitle of Smart Bitches: places writers go to procrastinate.

  9. Thank you for procrastinating on my behalf, Carrie. Such a giver. 🙂

I’m so glad I asked Sarah for help. I was never going to find it on my own.

  10. Elizabeth says:

That guy is cute, but he really doesn’t look as if he wants the glowing white chick touching him.

I’ve very impressed that you could find all that info, Carrie!  It’s a bit scary, really.
