Think Pushy Thoughts

I am being induced today, so think pushy, happy, and preferably painless thoughts. And consider this an open topic – yammer about whatever you want! Pimp yourself, whatever you like.

But while I’m busy, take this naughty American history quiz that Rebyj sent my way. For every question you get right, the male or female model removes an article of clothing. Have fun boning up on American history (heh heh). I didn’t make it past the first few questions because I got distracted getting ready to go – so let me know what you think.

  5. Jackie L. says:

Having been induced three out of three times, the only word is epidural.  Epidural, epidural.  Best of luck.  Send pictures when you can!

  6. Kimberly Anne says:

In the words of our greatest sage, Bill Cosby: “Push ‘em out, shove ‘em out, waaaay out!”

  11. Congratulations and may it be speedy and painless. And may you get enough sleep afterwards.

  12. Liz C. says:

Pushy, happy, painless thoughts are being sent.

I wonder if I take the quiz if it can be counted as working? Technically I work in American History so I could always say “it’s educational!” if asked why I’m looking at naughty pictures. I am broadening my horizons and bettering myself.

  13. robinb says:

    Push!!!

    Congrats!

  14. Jaci Burton says:

    Good luck, darling Sarah!!!!

  17. KellyMaher says:

Best of luck Sarah!  I look forward to hearing how freakishly healthy mama and baby SB are doing tomorrow!

And since you so graciously invited, and as I’m telling the world today, I just signed a contract with Ellora’s Cave for my first novel.  It’s not quite on the same level as a new baby, but it’s the closest I’ve come to spawning 🙂

  18. Hi Sarah. Hoping you have the safest, fastest, least-painful delivery on record!

  19. Chicklet says:

I hope the baby cooperates today—you must be an excellent hostess, Sarah. *g*

  20. rebyj says:

awwww a new baby today!! good luck!

amen on the epidurals, they are a girls best friend.

  21. Kaite says:

May the birth be so easy, you don’t realize it’s done til the child is three! 🙂

Greetings and all Hail the Wee Bitch!

  22. Best of luck! Hope the baby is as beautiful as you!

  23. Carrie Lofty says:

Dude, I KNEW having a master’s in history would pay off one day! Dang! Although the patrotic music while he swung his willy was a little over the top.

    Good luck, Sarah!

  24. Leslie Kelly says:

Good luck Sarah—and I agree… Epidurals are your friend.

PS: Thanks for the quiz. Made it all the way through and, ahem…nice.

(Luckily, my love of Broadway theater and knowledge of all the lyrics from Assassins got me through the “final” question!)

  25. Sarah Frantz says:

Good luck!  Hope things go well.

  26. Chris S. says:

Happy Baby!  All the best to all of you.

  27. dl says:

Congrats & wishes for healthy mom & baby.

Enjoy (seriously) because you blink, and suddenly they are grown up & you have to lengthen the apron strings…it totally sucks.

Random rant…am I the only reader majorly fed up with the sheer number of BDSM books being published?  Is the readership really that large for readers who enjoy this kink?  It’s one of the few plots I REALLY can’t enjoy.  And according to “those in the know” it’s rarely accurately written.

  28. rebyj says:

    congrats KellyMaher on your book!!

The quiz cracked me up, all the historical fiction I’ve read paid off big time LOL

  29. lisabea says:

    Happy Baby Day!!!!

  30. Rana says:

    Good luck!!!!

  31. Jennie says:

push push push push! looking forward to hearing about the new baby.

    Q.  How can you bone up on American history when that guy is as flaccid as a wet noodle?

Studying in 11th grade (and the help of Google) finally paid off!

My word is “gave89”  as in Sarah “gave a biiig push” and along came baby!

  32. Sending good, pushy vibes your way!

  33. AnimeJune says:

Congratulations! All hail the mighty epidural! I’m thinking very many happy, drugged-out, cute baby thoughts in your direction!

I, myself, was an ornery baby – always doing things the last minute. A week late, I decided to arrive the evening before they were going to induce me, and I’ve been procrastinating ever since!

    My word: Together91! Whoo!

  34. Good luck! Hope it’s fast & easy (where have I heard that before).

  35. Jami Alden says:

Woo hoo! here’s hoping your delivery is speedy (but not so speedy the drugs don’t have time to kick in) and uneventful (except for the part when the baby comes out!)  I wish you lots of sleep and sanity in the months to come.

  36. Cori says:

Happy pushy thoughts! Good luck to you and baby and the whole family!

In other news, if I had a teacher who looked like that, I might have paid a lot more attention in history class.  As it is, my history-lovin’ husband has obviously rubbed off on me, as I got the boy teacher naked on the first try. Nummy. I have to say, I think I prefer the rear view, as the naked dangly bits are only truly arousing in the proper time and place.

  37. Good luck!!!! And congratulations!!

  38. smartmensab-tch says:

    Congratulations Sarah!

Loved the quiz!  Took me several tries to get “through” (ha ha), and I thought I was good at history.  If my teachers had looked like that, I KNOW I’d have paid more attention in school!  Excellent reward for completion…

  39. Stephanie says:

    Push it!

My boyfriend/pseudo-fiance was over 9 lbs and his dad was over 10.  I’m a tad loath to reproduce with him, for obvious reasons.  Here’s hoping Freebird Part Deux isn’t nearly so . . . extensive.

My spamblocker word: easy92.  I’m hoping that’s a prediction for you!

  40. I was the result of an induced birth and my mother tells me the labor was blessedly short…about 2 hours.  Here’s hoping that all goes smoothly!

my word is “force67”  I think the spam word thing is cheering for you too.
