Bitchery member Jonquil brought to my attention a really gorgeous quilt auction to benefit one of Jenny Crusie’s fans, Michele VanZuylen, who is undergoing treatment for stage II breast cancer.
Not only is it a beautiful quilt of books on a shelf, but it incorporates the signatures of 15 authors on the spines of the books, including P.C. Cast, Lani Diane Rich, and Nora Roberts.
If this is the sort of thing that moves your fancy, bid away – I’d covet that quilt even if it weren’t for a good cause.
