This Week’s Personal Ad Contest: Serial Killers = HOTTTTTTTTT

You should know by now. And if you don’t, you’ll figure out it out fast enough:

Title of book + Author + Hero’s Name (no hero’s name, no prize) = A prize consisting of a title of much awesomeness and dubious taste from us Smarty Bitchypoos.

Ready? Here it comes:

Widowed white male, accused serial murderer (how do you think I became a widower, eh?), looking for shy, neurotic daughter of a dead true crime fiction author to seducerate. C’mon, baby—the sex is always better when you do it with someone who may or may not have slaughtered his pregnant wife and kids.

Is it Richard Tiernan in “Night Fall” by Anne Stuart ?

    Franziska

  2. Candy says:

YAY! That is correct, Franziska. Wow, the ad lasted, what, just over an hour? Anyway, congrats, and coronation ceremony to come in a little bit.

  3. Lisa says:

    I LOVE that book.

  4. Victoria Dahl says:

HAHAHAHA And I thought I was the only one. *snort*

  5. Franziska says:

Oh wow!!! Finally after reading almost all Anne Stuart books (even the bad ones) it finally paid of. I’m so excited

  6. CindyS says:

Crap!!  The one day I am actually up in time and I don’t log on.  *sob*

I figure one day you’ll all take pity on me and just give me a title.

  7. Well, let’s see.  I HAVE Night Fall, just haven’t read it…looks like an ick factor looming, though…Anne Stuart used to be an auto buy, but I think SHE took the rules/ick factor “you can’t have a heroine love a hero who murdered her father” and see whether she could make it work…of course a writer buddy says that if you motivate it right, you can convince a reader to buy anything.

  8. CindyS says:

    Robin,

The one where the hero murdered the father is Moonrise and is one of my all time favourite books.  Course, I’m an Anne Stuart fangirl so take that for what it is worth 😉

Nightfall was the only book of hers that I couldn’t get a grip on.  I have re-read it a number of times but it hit too close to home.  I mean, there are women out there that marry serial killers knowing what they did in *real life*.  I don’t understand this and having it in Nightfall just wigged me out.

  9. Alyssa says:

All I can say is this description is hilarious!

  10. You realize, at some point we’re going to have to see a “Countess Twinkleberry” title.  It’s too good not to use.
