  1. June says:

It’s beautiful.  How hard will it be to get all of my friends to call me “Countess”?

  2. E.D'Trix says:

Probably not nearly as hard as it is to say Corne-Hollington with a straight face!

  3. Candy says:

Thus spake Countess Slutskyev. Well, I guess she would know, hee hee.

  4. E.D'Trix says:

I worked long and hard perfecting the haughty look I give when pronouncing my title(which I have named the ‘blue-slut’)!

I have no doubt that Countess Corne-Hollington will do the same…

  5. SB Sarah says:

Duchess Cuntington says: I don’t get so much of a giggle but I do get a rather pointed pause between words. It’s a shame really. Old family name and all that.

  6. E.D'Trix says:

Argh, realized my statement was poorly phrased. (Where IS my editor, LOL.) Meant that the haughty look was entitled the ‘blue-slut’, of course. I would never tamper with the sanctity (tity, huh-huh) of my SB title.

    The proud Countess Slutskyev

  7. Lynn M says:

What I want to know is where you two come up with these names? Do you keep a list? Each one makes me laugh even harder.

Not to mention this O-face images. Problem with these are with the reduction in clinch covers, you gals are going to have to learn how to Photoshop your own when the supply runs out. Not that this will happen any time this decade, of course…

  8. Thus spake Countess Slutskyev

I like this as a book title.  Very evocative.

  9. Candy says:

What I want to know is where you two come up with these names?

From the blackest recesses of our souls.

Beavis and Butthead are also great inspirations. As are the hideous covers we stare at once a week.

Problem with these are with the reduction in clinch covers, you gals are going to have to learn how to Photoshop your own when the supply runs out.

E-book covers are going to keep us well stocked once we’ve mined all the old Johanna Lindsey covers for all they’re worth….

I like this as a book title.  Very evocative.

Could be a philosophical treatise on how virginity is dead, I s’pose.

  10. Rosario says:

    Best O-face yet, this one.

  11. Maili says:

I’m sorry. I just can’t get over that that woman in the photo is the splitting image of English actress Joanna Lumley.

[She of ‘The New Avengers’, ‘Sapphire & Steel’, and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ fame]

[A gold star to anyone who do remember Sapphire & Steel.]
