The summary:

He's Gone Rogue

Ex-Navy SEAL Rock Babineaux’s job is to get information, and he’s one of the best in the business. Until something goes horribly wrong and he’s being hunted by his own government. Even his best friends at the covert special-ops organization Black Knights Inc. aren’t sure they can trust him. He thinks he can outrun them all, but his former partner—a curvy bombshell who knows just how to drive him wild—refuses to cut him loose.

She Won't Back Down

Vanessa Cordova hasn’t been the team’s communication specialist
very long, but she knows how to read people—no way is Rock guilty of murder. And she’ll go to hell and back to help him prove it. Sure, the sexy Cajun has his secrets, but there’s no one in the world she’d rather have by her side in a tight spot. Which is good, because they’re about to get very tight…

And here is Jessica's review:

This is the fourth book in the Black Knights series. Featuring Rock “Cajun” Baineaux and Vanessa, it’s one of my favorites of the series. The Black Knights are a group of bike mechanics that are actually government agents. Cajun is an ex-Navy SEAL who has been accused of killing several people and is on the US hit list. Because Cajun is on the run, he can’t trust anyone even these zany agents who are like his family. Except for one. Vanessa Cordova refuses to take no for an answer. The team’s communication specialist, she’s fairly new but was immediately drawn to Cajun. While some members of the team are unsure of their thoughts on the accusations against Cajun, Vanessa never wavers in her faith. She doesn’t let Cajun’s constant rejection stop her either. She’s helping him whether he likes it or not.

This edition of the series was action packed. Traveling to gather more information as to why he’s being falsely accused, Cajun and Vanessa run into some very tight spots. The team has come to also show their support for Cajun and he unwillingly accepts their help.

I thought the pacing was great; I was really entertained. There are some really hilarious moments. Like when they use vibrators to deflect government bugs. Um, what?! My only irritation was Vanessa. While her tenacity in getting to Cajun is one to be admired, sometimes I just wanted to slap some sense into her. She’s a badass, but at times she would forget and act a fool. However, her stubborn attitude serves her well and it’s going to help her in the end, especially in her work.

Cajun and Vanessa, together, were extremely hot. There’s a scene in the rainforest involving being trapped in a tree with a panther skulking outside that is very memorable. It’s one of my top favorite scenes of the entire series. Besides their sexual chemistry, they both carry dark secrets. This enables them to connect on a deeper level. Watching Rock fall in love was the real treat of the story. He had impenetrable walls and Vanessa was able to scale those suckers and come up on top.

Overall, I would give this book a B grade. Action-packed, a redeemable, grouchy hero and a quirky heroine round it out.
