This is a wonderful story and it flows very smoothly. It is also wickedly hot. Enough so that it will sizzle your fingers as you turn each page but with characters that are venerable, untrust worthy, shunned by the Ton and just down right naughty.
IMO, Nicola Cornick is one of the best writers of historical romance and One Wicked Sin was a fabulous book! It’s the second title in a series and the first book, Whisper of Scandal, is fantastic. It’s a Regency partly set in the Arctic Circle with a terrific hero and a gorgeous hero and it was brilliant! Very highly recommended.
This was a wonderful story. I was impressed by Cornick’s ability to turn an unlikable character, from the first book in the trilogy, into someone I was rooting for!!!

This is the only book of hers I’ve read, and I also thought it was great. Definitely stands alone, although I’m really looking forward to reading the others. I don’t know if she’s a new writer or just new to me, but discovering her (and Sherry Thomas) was probably the best part of reading the Rita nominated books for me. I had some issues – things at times got unnecessarily complicated – but I was really impressed by the characters. The heroine in particular was atypical in really refreshing ways.
KKW, Nicola Cornick started writing for Harlequin Historicals in the 90s before moving on to writing single title historicals a few years back. I’ve been a fan of hers since the beginning and love her books.
