No, I’m still traumatized, too. The worst of it is, somebody on Jezebel spoiled it for me months ago, so I knew it was coming, and it still made me cry my eyes out when I watched it.
Upside Downton Abbey, though, is a thing of beauty.
Maybe in Upside Downton Abbey Sybil would still be alive. Can’t believe they wrote her character out. What do you want to bet Branson leaves the babe at Downton and takes off for Ireland…
A community spoiled it for me as well. The funny thing is, they make a big deal about no one in the U.K. spoiling it for us fans in the States. Yet there was a big fat spoil for the episode right in their banner.
I’m with you, no amount of spoiling prepared me for ‘that’.

Oh dear gods, this is a thing of beauty! *shares the hell out of it everywhere!*
I love the butler’s increasingly irritated “mmmmmmmum”!

This is glorious!!! I love that they actually made sure that the characters sound like the dowager and Carson. Love X inifinity!

Carson and the Dowager Countess would approve. ;)
(Am I the only one still somewhat traumatized by last Sunday’s episode?)

There was a serious case of emotional drainage after watching that episode.
