Cute guy with a Scottish accent, beloved by lion cubs? He’s got “romance hero” written all over him! And what lovey babies the cubs are.

(I’ve watched this several times now and it always makes me smile. I especially love his deprecating smile as he wipes away one of the cubs’ “lovely wee kiss”.)

Awww, and just think, in a few years they can have him for breakfast. Still, there is something adorable about young felines, even if they will grow up to be dangerous. And why doesn’t my zoo hire cute Scotsmen???

Is there an animal-related equivalent of exploding ovaries? Because that just happened to me. So. Much. Cute. The lion cubs aren’t bad either! :-)

My first thought was that I want to cuddle baby lions too! Then I started to wonder if I’m allergic to big cats like I am to domestic cats. I asked the interwebs, and the answer seems to be YES! NO! MAYBE!? So perhaps rubbing my face on a baby lion wouldn’t = disaster. Hooray! (maybe)
