Yay!! Thank you!
Congrats Karen and Karen D!
I have a pet peeve…. when an author has a series of books that were all released in paperback and then releases a book in that series in hardback, thereby increasing the cost from 7.99 to 20+ bucks.. Well , I’ve held strong to my convictions and not bought Dark Curse by Christine Feehan yet because I was waiting for the more affordable paperback .. But with winning this, I can compromise my convictions and buy it anyway ,yeah my convictions are only as strong as my spending money. Or do I want Moning’s Faefever? ....hmmmm

You’ll want KMM’s Faefever book (and the other 2 as well). Got them on ebook and now plan on getting the tree version. Feehan is ok for a read but it’s still all that olde worlde thing

Congrats to the finalists and the winners! Way to be creative and make me LOL!
I vote for Moning’s Faefever book, too, rebyj. Mainly because I gave up reading the Carpathian novels when I realized that every sex scene read almost verbatim. I still enjoy Feehan’s other series - the Drake Sisters and the Ghostwalkers series.

Faefever it is! Well, Faefever and Bloodfever. I read the first one and loved it. I was waiting for all 5 to come out before I bought any of the others so I could read them all in one sitting lol.
Feehan’s are kind of redundant but it’s a loyalty thing, I love supporting her because I like the earlier Dark books and love love love the Ghostwalker series. And they look so pretty on their own shelf! I think I have almost 30 of her books? a LOT anyway.

I was away when this one was originally posted but I’m stunned nobody suggested that fourth hand was “in her ass savin her life” or somesuch.
Or did I miss it?
Hysterical as always, ladies and gents.

I’m humbled. Thanks, ladies and any wandering gents! I didn’t even vote for my own these were so hilarious. I hope some sang it as it played out in my head in the voice of Eddie Murphy’s Buckwheat.

Yes, Karen, I *did* sing it in my head as Buckwheat. I didn’t want to say anything earlier, though, and potentially harm the voting. It made me smile, but I suppose it could be taken the wrong way :-).
