Many thanks and high fives to the November advertisers. These are the lovely folks whose support helps underwrite the mayhem and shenanigns here, and without them there wouldn't be as much Bitchery to go around.
Thanks for advertising with us, and thank you to everyone who has clicked on an ad and taken a closer look at a book. You're helping support advertisers who want to reach romance readers directly, and that's excellent.

I thought to myself several times this weekend while shopping online (what? crowds? No, thanks.) that it was a shame there weren't more ebook sales on Black Friday or Cyber Monday or whatever else the sale days are called. But then, I forgot that AllRomance (sponsor of the Sizzling Book Club and generally awesome at customer service) is offering a Cyber Monday 50% Rebate sale. That means any title that's incentive-eligible (i.e. not agency) - conveniently marked with this symbol: - is eligible for a 50% rebate. That's Harlequin, Samhain, Kensington, Sourcebooks -- anyone but the Big Six. Remember when Fictionwise…

Christine Merrill’s The Inconvenient Duchess is a free PDF download from TryHarlequin.com. This book was released in 2006, and has pretty high Amazon reviews from its release. Also in the TryHarlequin collection are three Spanish language novels—scroll all the way to the right to find them. But wait, there’s more! This weekend only, Fictionwise is offering 50% off all titles with coupon code92311 092311 (SORRY!). There are two caveats: one, the coupon is not valid on Samhain titles and certainly not on any agency publisher titles. Two, there’s not a huge selection at Fictionwise, alas. But they do have Harlequin…

I’m working on a a project for RWA this year to help everyone navigate their way to interesting places in NYC. But I need your help: what landmarks, museums, places of interest, stores, and different locations are MUST-SEE spots in Manhattan? Tell me tell me, so I can plot them out. Mwaaaahahahah, plotting. Among my list of spots to recommend to visiting romance writers: Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum (one of my absolute favorite places in NYC) Metropolitan Museum of Art Museum of Sex MoMA Central Park walking paths of awesomeness Woo Shoe (for all your shoe shopping needs) Bloomingdale’s Macy’s Herald…

Yet again this past month I received an email from a reader looking for a past advertisement, wanting to find a book she’d seen here but couldn’t recall. So, for your shopping and memory-nudging usage, here are the February advertisers, all lined up looking stunning. You can find past months of advertisers in the advertiser tag, a link to which is always under the ad column. Thanks for advertising here, y’all, and helping me keep the site floating on postage, hosting, and crazy mayhem, with occasional breaks for cookies. There are not terribly many places where romance publishers and authors…

We have the Winnahs for our Classic Romance giveaway: First: comment #34 from A.M.K. Also: comment #79 from Becca ETA: You know, two and five are TOTALLY the same number. I misremembered the total number of prizes (DOH) and was kindly reminded that OOPS THREE MORE WINNERS AHOY! (Seriously, this is about as boneheaded an error as I’ve made in awhile. I’ll be savoring this one.) Three more winnahs, drawn from the random integer! AgTigress Beccafoh cayenne (Sorry about that y’all. Seriously. Holy crap.) Congrats to the winners - please email me at sarahATsmartbitchestrashybooksDOTcom with your names and addresses so…
