If you tuned in to last week’s book chat, you know that our November book club selection is Courtney Milan’s Unclaimed! Unclaimed is the sequel to Unveiled, our February book club selection, and it’s as marvelous as the first book in the Turner series. Here’s the summary: Handsome, wealthy and respected, Sir Mark Turner is the most sought-after bachelor in all of London—and he’s known far and wide for his irreproachable character. But behind his virtuous reputation lies a passionate nature he keeps carefully in check…until he meets the beautiful Jessica Farleigh, the woman he’s waited for all his life.…

My pick for august, is paranormal, YA, and is the first book in a series - woo! Touch of Frost is a new YA series from author Jennifer Estep, and I thought it was spiffy. Here’s the synopsis: Gwen Frost is an outsider at Mythos Academy, a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody’s head with a sword. Gwen is an outsider both to the students of the Academy and the rest of the world. But when her gift of psychometry - the ability to know an object’s…

N. is looking for this series, which she read about 15 years ago. There is a Harlequin series (can’t remember which one) book I’d love to revisit, if the Bitchery can help out. I’d guess about 15 years old? The heroine has a problem father, I think with gambling issues. To save daddy, she gets engaged to the bad brother of the hero and moves in with both of them. But the lurve is too strong and the hero & heroine run away together. As they are running away together, they have a car accident. The evil brother dies in…

Once part of an elite group of hunters, she’s going rogue these days, though no less determined to rid the world of bloodthirsty beasts…once and for all. That’s why Alex had no choice but to kill Julian Barlow’s wife—and will have to pay the price. Julian’s brand of vengeance is downright devious, and now he’s turned Alex into a member of his pack. It’s only a matter of time…

This is another book for which I did not receive a RITA® Reader Challenge review, so I’ve rounded up some strong reviews for the purposes of this collection. I have not, however, assigned a letter grade to this review. This book finaled in the Paranormal Romance category. Plot Summary: Off the shores of Sea Haven, a beautiful diver rescues a man from drowning, a man with no memory of who he is-or why he seems to possess the violent instincts of a trained killer. But soon, he and his savior will be engulfed in a storm of dizzying passion and…
