Ann is looking for a book she read long ago that was from an excerpt in a magazine. She's been searching for it for awhile, and is hoping one of you might recognize the description. I have been trying to find this romance novel where a woman is given permission by her husband to cheat, after she finds out he has cheated on her. He wants her to see it's just physical. I have been monster busy and therefore craving Harlequins for reading - but this one I couldn’t get through, no matter how many times I told myself that maybe after a few more pages the book would pick up and get better. First, thanks to Barb Ferrer: People Magazine’s hottest bachelors issue is out, and Ferrer reports that “one of the mini-features is bachelors dressed up and recreating traditional romance novel covers.” Judging from Brody Jenner’s picture, they’ve got it 40% correct. Mullet? No! Shirt open and still tucked in? Yes, but on technicality- the shirt is unlaced. Sword of dubious significance? NO! And the wind appears to be emerging from only one direction. Her dress is damn good though. I think that’s the same gown from the cover of The Luxe. Kiplinger.com has a list of 10 Quirky Econimic Indicators that…

If you received your issue of Romantic Times magazine, you may have noticed Smart Bitches were inside. We’re in ur magazine, talkin’ ‘bout Pirates! It’s true: Elissa Petruzzi did a marvelously fun interview with us, and we’re in the “RT Bookshelf” section of the April 2009 issue. We talk about sexuality, pirates, the economy, our book, our site, and pirates. I thought it turned out terribly well, and as usual Candy cracked my ass up. Romantic Times generously gave us permission to host a PDF of the interview over here at Bitchery HQ, so if you’d like to read it,…
