You know that gleaming white… thing on the abdomen of Jo Goodman’s upcoming book? The one that, as Goodman’s editor said, once you see it, you can’t NOT see it? You want a copy of your own, right? Sure you do. I mean, not only is there Accidental Dong on the cover, but it’s Jo Freaking Goodman, who many a romance readers adores for her emotional old West historicals. Want one? I have three. I giggle every time I look at them. Easy as pie: just leave a comment and tell me your favorite Goodman romance, or, if you haven’t…

Anne enquired after an author whose novels she enjoyed a great deal: Knight in a White Stetson, The Virgin Beauty, and Renegade with a Badge were written by one Claire King for the Intimate Moments line. They’re awesome, and as nearly as I can tell, she’s dropped off the face of the earth. I’d love to know if she’s writing under another name, or joined a nunnery, or what! Well, Knight in a White Stetson and Renegade with a Badge are both available on Kindle, with “White Stetson” as part of Harlequin’s new “Treasury” collection - so these must be…

Billie Bloebaum, romance book buyer for Powell’s in the Portland Airport, is exercising the power of her handselling abilities online, and fields requests for books to read. Kimberly writes in with a Bookmatcher request: Hi Sarah, I was wondering if you could help me out. I usually read urban fantasy or fantasy books with strong romance elements. Why is that? There’s a lot of questioning as to why the Twilight series sustains its audience…

I have it on good authority that the following names will appear in the next Lorelei James cowboy erotica novel, seeing as Cody, Cade, Kane, and Colt are all taken: Kale Corn Cart Kelp Kilt Kern Curd Kock Crap Cold Crud Clap Kale and Corn might both be in the closet for one another, and Kern is definitely a cowboy-cum-computer-programmer, but we’ll have to see what happens in the next few books. I’m not sure if I can handle the multi-partner sex scene between Crap, Clap, Crud, and Kock. And yes, it was often difficult to keep the one-syllable characters…
