I have heard a lot of bashing of this movie because it lacks the philosophy of the original, but it wasn`t until we get around to Next Generation that we have Picard pontificating about our moral place in the universe…
Ok, the only thing that could have saved me from flinging it dramatically across the room after “Is it just me or…” was if the hero replied “No! It’s getting hot in here/so take off all your clothes!”
