Saturday Night Live Blog: Kiss of the Demon King

by SB Sarah | January 26, 2009 | Monday at 11:26 pm | 6 Comments

This Saturday Dear Author will be hosting semi regular SB&J liveblog event. This time we’ll be doing a liveblog review of Kresley Cole’s Kiss of a Demon King. This is more of a book club discussion event than a read along because it wouldn’t be feasible to read and blog such a long book all at once. So grab a copy of KofaDK and come join us Saturday night at 8:00 EST/ 9:00 CST.

How fun!  I’m actually currently reading it! Hopefully I’ll be able to stop by.

I actually would be currently reading it, except it’s not out in e-book form! Grrrrr razzr frazzr and some deleted expletives.

I’d love to discuss it, but it’s not available on Kindle yet.

**Very unhappy here***

I won’t be able to make the liveblog, so I have to throw this comment? question? on the pile, which I hope y’all can discuss at some point:  Are Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter planning some sort of mash-up or cross-over between their Immortals After Dark and the Lords of the Underworld series?  Nix makes a comment in KotDK about how she wants to go to Budapest and check out those hunky Lords she’s heard so much about.

It’s possible that Cole just wanted to give a shout-out to a friend’s series, but I have to admit that the concept of a Nix/Lord hookup sounds entirely plausible given the worlds they’ve established, and like damn good fun.

Ooh, I would love to join. I’m waiting for the copies to get in at the library. (Poor college student.) Kresley Cole’s books are the first romance books I read, and they’re so damn good I’ve been an addict ever since.
