Something about sensitivity to light—apparently JRWard wears glasses everywhere, and at all times.

She wore them everywhere last year in Atlanta, too. Dunno if it’s for a medical reason or if it’s her “look.” If it’s a look, it’s really pathetic, so I’d vote for medical. Hopefully.

I’m light sensative also, wear polarized sunglasses almost all the time, often on overcast or even rainy days…not indoors. But I’ll give her the benefit yada, yada.
The Mommy Quest, yeah. Actually read that one also. Remember it as well written, but otherwise forgetable…like not on my keeper shelf.

JR Ward is like totally pretentious. The whole affected accent and the sunglasses. And the book wasn’t even that good. What a disappointment.

She pretty much lives in the sunglasses because of light sensitivity. Having met her and gotten no pretentious vibe, I believe her explanation about light issues.
