I am so excited about the new USA Today Books blog about romance novels, Happy Ever After, especially since it not only features authors like Joyce Lamb and Michelle Monkou and Kathy Altman, but Mandi from SmexyBooks is on the team as well! That’s so awesome!

Seriously, I think it is so excellent that USA Today, which already boasts some romance-friendly writers in their crew, has a romance blog. I love it. Congrats, y’all. I crack open champagne in your honor.

Also, have I neglected to share this link? I keep looking at it so I presume you have too - but I should spread the word anyway, because Holy Gift Idea.

Me and my ex made use of a library study carrel in a dark corner of the fifth floor stacks. This was before the era of security cameras, thank god. I don't think any of the (very few) guys in my library grad program would be interested in posing, but one of the professors - mmmm, baby.

That would make system-wide meetings verra verra distracting. He's a great guy, been recognized nationally for library work, and married. Crap. Captcha word: give66 I would give $66,000 for Mr. January to come catalogue my Deweys. And to bring Messrs June, November and December with him. Also Messrs February and August, because they're so clearly up for a laugh, and laughing smart guys are sexy. Oh, what the heck, bring 'em all.

But I want one of these, though my husband might not appreciate it as much. I'm mentioning this to my book club, in the interest of promoting charity. Yeah, charity.
