Last call for your votes on Mullet Mania: US vs. CANADA. Dog the Bounty Hunter and Billy Ray Cyrus are facing off against many fine spandex-wearing Canadians, plus Keifer Sutherland over at KristieJ’s Ramblings on Romance.

In the mean time, the mullet wig has arrived in my house. I’m having a hard time refraining from wearing it everywhere.

Ahem. So, at the height of the Billy Ray thing, I was working as a secretary, and one of our supervisors said he was sending a new employee over to me for some paperwork. He said, “You’ll recognize him right away, he looks like the Achey Breaky Heart guy.”

Being the dedicated metalhead that I was, I said “Who?”.

To this day, I don’t think I’ve heard the full achey-breaky heart song. And I intend to keep it that way.

Also. PLUS Keifer Sutherland? You surely meant INCLUDING Keifer Sutherland (although not in spandex), given his Canadian citizenship, Canadian parents, and Canadian grandfather Tommy Douglas, father of the Canadian health care system. Yes, we do frequently claim people as Canadian based on fairly spurious grounds, but I think Keifer is a pretty solid claim.

Now we just need to convince SB Sarah to bring her wig for use. I mean USA is soooo winning and KristieJ will be wearing her mullet!

Oh, no, I agree - Keifer is definitely Canadian! KristieJ was claiming him for Team Canada!

The mullet wig is definitely going to both RT and RWA. I think KristieJ and I should have a Mullets in the Bar drinking meet-up at both conferences - what do you think KristieJ?

I’ve got the wig ready to ship to you if you’d like to practice wearing it to its full advantage.
