As a Catholic, I cried with laughter.  This man is hilarious.  (And yes, Sarah…he’s cute, too.)  The Austen part was great, too!

I saw that the other night and immediately thought that one of you guys would post it. Either you or DA or Karen.

It’s hilarious. Colbert cracks me up. And he didn’t really make fun of romance. It was spot on, actually.

I doubt Colbert is that familiar with Austen but kudos to whoever on his staff is! That bit was just…coffee-snorting, pant-peeing, consciousness-expanding made full of awesome!

It’s good to know that their are others who hold a special something for Mr. Colbert.  He just does something to me… ;)

BTW, did anyone ever see him on the show, “Strangers With Candy”?  He is HI-larious in that.  Love that show!

I love Stephen and I giggled mightily when I saw that, but what just broke my brain into a bazillion pieces is the “he lives in my town so I probably shouldn’t say that out loud. I’ll see him at Starbucks and die of embarrassment.”  And I…. there are not enough words ending in -gasm to express my sentiment about Stephen and Starbucks at the same time.

Also, my cackling during the Austen bit jarred my roomie from sleep. But really, I don’t think she should be allowed to stay in bed till noon if I can’t, right? Right.

This little video made my day. And I wish I had the ability to see Stephen in Starbucks. Even the idea that it would be possible gives me a lady boner. Sheesh.

Freakin’ hilarious, all if it.  And I particularly love how he can get humor out of something (Catholicism, Jane Austen, Marvel Comics) without being excessively mean-spirited.

He’s at his best when he’s making fun of literature, I think.
