Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. I absolutely loved it. Stayed up until 3:30AM to finish it as a matter of fact.
Also King’s debut novel CARRIE’s really good.
And Artemis Fowl series kicks @$$! ;)

“Tam Lin” by Pamela Dean. It’s a romance novel pretending to be a fantasy novel, and in its new release it’s being marketed as a trade sized YA (but it originally came out as part of the Fairy Tale series 15 years ago).
It’s got everything a great read should have: interesting characters, great dialog, a love of reading (the main character is an English major), a set of mysterious beautiful young men, and a slowly growing love story between the protagonist and one of the mysterious young men. Oh and it holds up well through re-reading—I’ve probably read it at least 20 times.

Try Sandra Brown’s Envy, it was a great read or any of the Karin Slaughter’s mysteries, the story keeps moving. If you want romance, I am reading Anne Stuart’s The Devil’s Waltz and its pretty good or try Jo Beverly’s To Rescue a Rogue.

Deidre Knight’s Parallel Attraction
Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight and New Moon (YA with vampires)
Gena Showalter’s Awaken Me Darkly and Enslave Me Sweetly
Have fun at Borders! I love my Borders Rewards card/coupons!

“Enchanted: Erotic Bedtime Stories For Women” by Nancy Madore. I never realized quite why I was disappointed with the ending of Beauty and the Beast until I read this. She so totally hit the nail on the head!
And I rather like her retelling of Bluebeard, too.

Karen, I *love* TAM LIN. I didn’t know it was being rereleased. I have a much worn and bedraggled copy.
Gorgeous story.

River by Skyla Dawn Cameron. Werewolf high school romance with a GREAT twist. The heroine was originally a wolf until she was bitten by a human. I swear the author is Joss Whedon in disguise.

Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling. My goal is to turn as many people on to the Nightrunner series as possible

I suggest anything by Beverly Jenkins. She’s an excellent romance writer!

Any thing in the Darkyn series by Lynn Viehl.
And if you’re in the mood for non romance, We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. One of the most astonishing books I’ve ever read. My friends with children tell me every mother should read it.

Can I third Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer? I LOVE those books. I just got my copies signed last weekend, when she was in town. I have the same 30% off coupon, and I’m tempted to go buy Twilight in paperback, since it just came out…
