I’d rather die, thank you

Iiiiit’s Friday! So:

Guess title, author,
heroine’s name, and Smart Bitch
title may be yours

And as I fall I feel myself relax

Spunky aristocratic chick pretending to peasant for unfathomable reasons seeks to escape from tortured, conflicted and really, really hot knight. If you could direct me to the room with the biggest glass window, I’d really appreciate it. Retrograde amnesia acceptable in the event that death doesn’t actually claim me.

What the hell is it with the Saras and the winning, eh?

Congratulations, Sara! Coronation ceremony to come shortly.

How did you pick that one, Sara?  It sounds like about fifty books I’ve read…

I actually recognized that one. The glass window is such a dead giveaway! Otherwise, it’s ever other medievalish book out there!

Dang!  It’s a Sara conspiracy!

Good call, your ladyship.

Funny, I just finished a reread last week.  Tortured, conflicted and really really hot is about right.

For the record, this is the FIRST Lonely Heart written by Candy that I actually knew. Usually she writes the ad, and I’m all “WTF, Mate?”

Well done Sara!

Cool! For some reason I can’t stop smiling.

I’m up to my eyeballs in a rewrite, and actually stopped in here for something else (not the Dominican bitches or the man-titty). In the past year I’ve been trying to win a title, I’ve always popped in here too late. I was shocked—completely shocked—when I saw the ad was unanswered. Didn’t figure I had a hope in hell of getting the timing right and coming up with the correct answer.

(And Lisa is right. The glass window gave it away.)
