As for heroines, I agree with Candy’s list, but I would also add Catherine Zeta-Jones and Rachel Weisz.

I’m sorry, Johnny Depp =/ intensely masculine. One of the reasons I love him (and love Jack Sparrow) is his rather fey demeanor. He’s not quite to David Bowie levels of androgynous, but he’s not far off.

And androgyny = h0tt. Give me a boy in eyeliner any day.

I am of the Ralph Fiennes fanclub as well. Oh dear. I had the hots for Pierce Brosnan in the 80s, but not so much now. Alan Rickman, ooh la la, but I do think he hit his peak about a decade ago (I know, but I’m not his target audience).

As for Naveen Andrews, if he wore his hair long again, I would go straight (as in het) for him and have his babies.

But where is my Kate Winslet? Please! Intelligent, sexy, doesn’t disappear when she turns sideways.

Jada Pinkett is cute with cute on top. And so is Drew Barrymore. I think I’m the only dyke who doesn’t have the hots for Angelina Jolie… maybe I’d have a roll in the hay, but a relationship? Not so much.

Jennifer Beals - I had such a crush on her when I was 16, and now she’s pretty much the only reason I watch The L Word. I’m ashamed to say how surprised I was at how good her acting is. Hot, onto-it and intelligent. What else does one need?

Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro (not handsome but man does he have brooding down to a T.  I think he’s HAWT).  For female heroine, I love Kate Winslet.  I see the three of them in a historical romance.  *sigh*

Johnny Depp?  Hot?  I don’t think so.  he’s too metrosexual for my taste. 

Now, Holmes, from “Holmes on Homes” . . . that’s one hot dude!  He has that alpha male thing going, but has that softie side that comes out once in a while . . .

No one’s mentioned Tiki Barber, that I can see. Hot and classy—that’s a nice combo there.

Christopher Lee definitely falls in the “Still Hot” group.  My daughter has had a crush since she was 13, which she finds very disturbing, since it’s not on the young and sexy Lee, but on Saruman and Cout Dooku era Lee.

You know, I’m trying to think of who all I think is super-sexy and I know I have a short list of 5 or so men that I think are very hot, but I just watched Lost last night and Naveen Andrews is the only one I can think of.  The man is so incredibly sexy!  I just all gushy about it—he’s soooooo beautiful.

Will Smith is one of my favorite actors ever and he is totally hot. I have a real thing for Matt Damon from the Bourne movies—I could watch him kick ass all day. I’m old enough that I was 13 when the first Star Wars movie came out and Han Solo. Sigh. Harrison Ford has always been hot to me. Then I found out he’s the same age as my dad and that sorta freaked me out. Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart—there’s something about Patrick that’s just so sexy. Wesley Snipes is hot.

I don’t watch TV so it’s hard for me to say any of the current hot guys. I have a thing for guys in the movies. Russell Crowe is an ass in real life but he’s sexy. The Rock isn’t bad—must be the muscles. After watching the Ocean movies, 11,12, and 13 last week—I now think George Clooney and Brad Pitt are pretty sexy. I didn’t before.

OMG. Aragorn. Just give me Aragorn. Viggo Mortensen is so freaking hot in that trilogy I just want to eat him up. In other movies he’s good looking, but as Aragorn—mmmmmmmmm. I’d forget I’m married for him.

I am a shallow, middle aged lady.  My idea of the ideal chick flick is one with half naked men, some reasonable characterization, and a plot with few holes.  “Pathfinder” got a whole lot less interesting, and I noticed just how crappy the plot was, when Karl Urban put clothes on half way through. Until then, I hadn’t really cared.
