I want a Sony Mylo! Ir’s like a PC but for on the go. It’s got camera, video, radio, music, and wi-fi internet and I want one SO BAD!

I actually thought about buying myself one, but it’s like $300 and I feel SO guilty just thinking about it. Sure, it’s MY money and everything but still.. damn my mother for making me so easy to feel guilt!

I would love to get into my top choice for school and then get enough money to afford to go

I would like my husband’s job to be less stressful for him!

I want to go back to school, without amassing a bajillion dollars of debt. That’s my big wish - I can manage the rest of what I want from there.

Santa is treating me well this year- can’t say I’d ask for more- but I’d take the house cleaner if it was offered!

I would like a day where I can just sit in my apartment, make some hot chocolate, watch a movie/read a book and just relax. It has been way to crazy the last few months, and I would just like a day or two to relax!!

I would like more willpower.  to lose the weight, to finish the MS, to be a better friend/ wife/ daughter. 
If I can’t have that - maybe just a better fitting pair of jeans that don’t show my wonderoos when I sit down.
And a big honkin pile of books would be awesome too!

I would love my husband to get a full time job with benefits.  He’s been underemployed for years now.  And while we’re at it, I’d like some assurance that my job will still be there in six months.

I would like for our finances to get better this next year, so that I can make them worse again by having a baby!  I would also love to lose some weight and motivate myself to write more. 

I also hope the economy gets better so the family business that supports my Dad, sister, husband and Uncle plus others who are not family members, can earn more money and stay open!

I wish for all my loved ones to find peace and healing as we recover from a tragic incident that took my cousin and her niece and nephew from us.  Also, on a purely practical note, I would like a bigger vehicle so I don’t have to depend on others when I have to transport big stuff.

Hmm me I think I want… a hottie that seems right out of the romance novels by my bed. The kind that loves me big ass and all… =D I like some more books… YEY BOOKS! -cough- Umm a cleaning fairy to clean the mess thats become my room. And chocolate.

I love the fact that I don’t need to fill in my name on the from portion of the gift tag because my crap-ass job of wrapping identifies me as the gift-giver.  Did I mention I use tshirthell.com wrapping paper?  Don’t get me wrong—I love Christmas.  I just happen to enjoy spicing things up a bit.

There really isn’t anything I can think of that I would like to have for the holidays that I do not have already…although, I am not adverse to finding George Clooney wrapped in a bow in my stocking on Christmas morning!

Or Jason Isaacs.

I want the willpower to lose about 40 lbs.  Santa, can you bring me a new and improved body?!

I would like world peace. But, I’ll settle for a space heater for my cold, cold office.  (And a big bag of books…)

There’s a lot I’d like, but foremost peace of heart for me and mine:  a few days (or more) without stress, without worry, without anything significant going wrong.  I want time to appreciate the season and make each other laugh; the leisure of spirit to listen to carols and read particularly fluffy or charming romances that leave me with a little more belief in happy endings.  I had that today.  I’d love for it to continue as long as it can.

And if I didn’t have to take our beautiful Christmas tree down so soon after New Year’s, that’d be nice too!

I’d love a big pile of paperback books to curl up with (one at a time).  I’ve been reading ebooks for a while now, and they just don’t have the same… vibe to them.

Just one? I could go for so many things: an endless supply of macaroni and cheese, a Kindle, for Sallie Mae to forget I owe them student loans…

But really, what I’d like most is to go one complete 48-hour period without any responsibilities to anybody except myself.

All I want for Christmas is for the ice to go away. Forever, preferably. Or at least for my town to get better about dealing with it.

Or, lots and lots o’ books. :D

The only thing I can really wish for is health and happiness for my family and friends…

WOW!  There are lots of entries!  One thing I would LOVE is no drama from my teen girls!  Whew, I hate that saying “Save the drama for your mama!”  Who is the person that said came up with that?

I would love a personal chef to prepare meals for my family.  Otherwise, books are ALWAYS good!

I would like my niece and nephew to sleep in on the 26th.  Little kids are loud!

My hope is for the New Year, my husband dream finally comes to fruition. I have watched him struggle for the last 6 years trying to stay in the box and work for one of the most horrid companies. But he finally came to the realization that his dream is outside of the box and that is where he is the most happiest. Here’s to you Sugar, may 2009 be your year! Love Tex

I would like the people who have been laid off in the past week to find some happiness with their families during the holidays.

One thing? Just one? You have got to be kidding me. I have so many things I want, not the least of which is enough money to send all five of my kids (currently aged 4yrs to 17yrs) to college. Barring that, what I’d like this year is honking big gift card to a bookstore. Any bookstore!

All I want for Christmas is to hug mom’s cat until she hates me. (Should take about five minutes.)

As a mother to two very energetic little boys, I would love to have 24 hours of uninterrupted sleep. In a king sized bed. With the softest sheets you can buy on it.

What I’d like, I can’t have, unfortunately. I really, desperately want, with every fibre of my being, to have back a loved one I’ve lost.

Failing that, I’d like the year ahead to be kinder, and to bring a few things, including a giant step into the next stage of my academic career, and a new job. *sigh* That’s not so much to ask, is it?

What I want for Christmas? My husband and I have been struggling with infertility for the last three years. I really want to be able to be off the pills, the shots, the planing, and temperature taking. For christmas, I want to see my husband play with our two year old neice without the pain in his eyes and the longing on his face.

Sorry for the maudlin.. Hormones suck like a bitch.

I’d like a great Christmas day at my grandparents surrounded by my family, and I’m getting it. For the first time in a decade we’re going to spend Christmas day with them all. I’m so excited!

All I want is some time to myself so I can curl up in that itchy, but oh-so-warm cover, sip some scalding hot chocolate and read that one book that’s been reopened so many times, pages are falling out left and right.

There are many things I’d like for the holidays, including a way to make my father not an insomniac, and another set of these Merrel boots before they wear out but seeing as I have a roof, food, heat, books, what I think I want that I might actually get is my man to read a good trashy book.

I’d like world peace. Barring that, maybe a space heater for my very cold office?

I want some My LIttle Ponies!  Baring that, yarn.  Yarn and more yarn.  And books.

I’d really like my mom to be happy about her presents, even if only for one minute.

This is a holiday wish…to finally be able to move the piano my Grandma bought for me when I was 10 from my mom’s to my house and have it tuned so I can teach my daughters how to play.

I would like my divorce to be finalized for christmas so I can really have a new beginning for the new year.

I would really like a honking big pile of good books to read (not just a honking big pile of books, which I already have, but a honking big pile of good, fun books).

And a job or postdoc for next year would be pretty fabulous too.

And maybe a puppy.

Right now?  All I wish for is for my Dad to play nice tomorrow so that we can all have a stress free Christmas at our house.  That would be great.

I would love to know that I have more than enough money in the bank for a honking good down payment on the house I want.

Spring.

I want…my Mommy to make it all better.  For bi-polar to become a suddenly happy disease and not so scary and for a long conversation in English.

In lieu of that I’ll take chocolate love, strawberry ecstasy and an good book to get lost in.

I would love to have a stack of wonderful new books taller than I am (that’s 5 foot 2) the time to read them, and a bathtub (my favorite reading place) where the water never gets chilly!

I hope that everyone has their wishes/dreams/hopes come true!

Just one thing? Well, I would love for no one to be alone during the holidays. I cannot imagine being without my family and friends, and it makes me so sad to know there are so many lonely people out there.

For Christmas this year I’d love for my grandson to wake my daughter up at 0500 just like she did me when she was a child!
