by SB Sarah | March 14, 2008 | Friday at 4:45 pm | 12 CommentsYou know the drill: first person to add up author name + heroine’s name + title of book will win a snappy fresh and guaranteed unsullied Smart Bitch Titleâ„¢.
Seagull loving real estate maven seeks political cartoonist to inspire me to find confidence in myself, and perhaps also the long-nosed creature hiding in your pants, I mean, in your artistic aspirations. You might mock me and my efforts at helping other women in the beginning, but ultimately you’ll inspire me while I inspire you.

Nora Roberts, One Man’s Art, Genevieve Grandeau? Okay, I know that’s not right, but Grant’s a cartoonist, at least. Isn’t he? I was just so excited to see one of these posted before the right answer had been guessed.

OK y’all:
- category romance
- American line, I think
- pink paint speckled cover with dude sporting a 70’s porno mustache on the cover. Rwor hot.
At the beginning of the book, the hero and heroine are part of a panel discussion, and someone in the audience makes a crack about man-hating women. The hero asks that the jagoff stand up, but no one does. He says something along the lines, “We didn’t just have chicken for dinner - we have one in our midst.”

I was also going to go for Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Hmmm, and the plot sounded so similar!

Ok I’m going out on a limb. Or maybe a piece of driftwood, who knows.
The Seagull’s Cry, Denise Robin auth and I think the heroine was something like Tansy or Tensy maybe.

I couldn’t give you a title to save my life, but this sounds like an early, category JAK. She has so many pen names I couldn’t even guess which one of those it would be written under.

I cannot believe I have FINALLY POSTED A Guess that Lonely Heart that no one has guessed.
I feel like I need to give myself a prize.
More hints: This author is still very active in category romance.
The book was from the very late 80’s.
