Thanks for the opportunity.  It’s been so long since I read a small town contemporary, it would be great if I won so I can jump back in with a good one.

  7. Erica H says:

Carrie’s review totally sold me on this book!

  8. Turophile says:

I haven’t read this series.  I really like Shannon Stacey’s Kowalski Series, and Fiona Lowe’s wedding series (set in small town Wisconsin)

  9. Annette says:

I usually am more into historical but Carrie’s review sold me too!

  10. What @Annette said. I’m trying to broaden my romance reading and this seemed like a good addition to my usual historicals list.

  11. Vicki says:

You guys are really trying to get me back into the contemporary. And I am going willingly.

  12. susan says:

This book hits so many of my interests!

  13. KatieF says:

I don’t usually read small town contemporaries and didn’t realize this was considered one. I just loved the idea of a scientist heroine, disabled hero and main characters who are POC.

  14. I haven’t read this series yet. Contemporary small town books I enjoy are the Virgin River and Thunder Point series by Robyn Carr, the McCarthys of Gansett Island series by Marie Force, Shannon Stacey’s Kowalskis… And some Victoria Dahl trilogies are small town (though scorching hot small town…). Marion Lennox’s Banksia Bay series is wonderful—with rescue dogs! <3!

  15. There is nothing I do’t love about the idea of this novella. I can’t wait to see how everything is handled in such a short space.

  16. Lori S says:

I haven’t read this series yet. I somehow missed the review, but I just went back to read it and holy smokes it sounds good!

  19. Michele H. says:

Fan of Raeanne Thayne and Brenda Novak’s contemporaries when I am in the mood for small town, but typically not my cuppa. Carrie’s review make me want to buy it and read today!

  20. Justine says:

I haven’t read any of the books in this series, but I’ve had this particular book on my wishlist for months. I liked the first few books in the Kowalski series.

  21. Bibliophile says:

Sounds like a great story. I hate it when easily resolvable issues are blown out of proportions just to create conflict, so this is definitely something I would like to read.

The last romance I read was less than stellar, although I must say I can only blame myself for continuing to read after I discovered I was basically reading a Barbara Cartland older man-younger woman plot transferred to the 1980s.

  22. Margarita says:

Looking forward to this contemporary! It’s been a while and I’m ready to put the corsets and petticoats aside!

  23. Erin says:

I’ve never heard of this series before, but I just read the review and it sounds great!

  24. Beth says:

Never read anything by this author but it sounds interesting! Added it to my wish list.

  25. KellyM says:

I haven’t read this series but I’ve been meaning to pick up some of Anna Richland’s books so I’m excited about this give away. Thanks!

  26. LauraL says:

I’ve had this book on my Wish List since the first time I heard about it. Thanks!

  27. Meredith says:

I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but like Carrie, I love scientist heroines, so I’d love to check it out.

  28. Rain says:

Intrigued by the characters of color and the disabled hero. Thanks!

  29. Lynn Pauley says:

I haven’t read any in this series but I do enjoy reading contemporaries by Marie Force and Shannon Stacey. Thanks for the giveaway—this sounds like an awesome read.

  30. CelineB says:

I haven’t read any of this series yet but after reading the review of this novella I’m excited to try it. I like the Kowalski series by Shannon Stacey and the Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis.

  31. Jen says:

I haven’t read anything in this series, but I’m in now! Going to check out this one soon.

  32. Amy says:

This book sounds amazing. I don’t normally enjoy novellas, because most are either not emotionally satisfying (for me as the reader) or they are a cliffhanger (which makes me crazy). I would have missed out.

  33. Lozza says:

I’ve never read anything by this author before, but the review from Carrie made it sound fantastic.
I’ve read many of the usual suspects in small town romance, from Jill Shalvis to Susan Mallery to Shannon Stacey to Robyn Carr, etc. Sometime they frustrate me because I feel like the issues could easily be solved with some frank, mature, adult, communication, but it sounds like this novella doesn’t suffer from that issue!

  34. SusanS says:

Haven’t read any books in this series and I usually steer clear of small-town romances (especially those that demonize cities and anyone who wants to live there), but this sounds too good to pass up.

  35. SamIAm says:

I haven’t read this series, and I don’t usually do small town romance but it looks interesting.

  36. NancyB says:

Sold by the review.  I’d love to win it, but it’s going on my “find and read” list in any case.

  37. Brandy says:

I haven’t read this author before, but the review has sold me on this book. My favorite small town contemporary series is probably the Fool’s Gold series by Susan Mallery. I really enjoy small-town romance series in general because you see favorite couples drift in and out of the new books, and you often have some great background characters in the town.

  38. Lisa says:

Haven’t read any….so this sounds interesting!

  39. Janet S says:

    Can’t wait to read it!

  40. erinf1 says:

this looks and sounds awesome 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
