Time for another podcast from Dear Bitches, Smart Authors. We retread some of the economic discussion from our earlier podcast, but we have more to say about what’s selling, most notably ebooks. We also have as our first guest Malle Vallik from Harlequin with us to discuss all things bright and digital from Harlequin. Enjoy!
Technical notes: this is the feed to the podcast and you can click on this link to add it to iTunes. We can’t curse on the podcast due to iTunes content restrictions. (Dammit fuck).
If you have content suggestions, tips on how to do this whole thing better, or general wtf-ery comments, email us. It’s all welcome because a) we are new to this and b) we don’t really know what we are doing so the wtf comments are probably all valid. The email address for the podcast is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
This podcast is brought to you by the letters E, B, and HQN, and by Morgan from Miss Media Productions . Thanks, Morgan!

Awesome! I started to email and ask when the next podcast was due yesterday.
Malle Valik was an excellent intelligent guest . If you read this Malle the HQN line is one I recommend often and 9 times out of 10 I get the comment ” THAT’S a Harlequin? It’s awesome” lol
As a rather ignorant reader, it’s always enlightening to hear more about the industry side to publishing. The merchandising part of the discussion was interesting and in discussing how to get people to learn how to download ebooks and give them a try was funny, “just give everyone a 12 year old” hahaha .
I look forward to the upcoming prequels mentioned . And ooo I have the Harlequin celebrates free book giveaway link ready to go in late Jan!

Your feedburner and iTunes links are identical.

(Duplicate comment from DA. Kinda.)
Woohoo, downloading and subscribing! (Though Delia is right; the link to iTunes doesn’t seem to be working.)

Why bother with the iTunes if they’d censor you? Can you not add a feed from another provider to iTunes? (I refuse to use that software, so I don’t know what it’s capable of)
