It’s true, I feel I’ve now achieved the pinnacle of fame. I have the tangible evidence of true success in the bobblehead currently standing on my kitchen counter. What joy I felt when my little grandbabies came in last night, looked, and shouted: NANA! with awe and delight.

Seriously, it’s a huge kick, and great fun. If anyone really wants one, and can’t make it to Hagerstown, Turn The Page will be selling them on the day after the game.

As for the first pitch business, this will be my third year doing it. And every year I sweat bullets, and practice every night for weeks, terrified I will throw like a puny baby girl.

Does Turn The Page deliver to Australia?

I don’t know if they do. But about 11 years or so ago, Turn The Page delivered to me in Singapore. Oh yeah! Totally scored! Signed by the delightful and prolific Nora herself.

I really need to get two bobble heads—one for me and one for my grandma.

Just last week, we were talking about books, and she said “what do you like to read” to which I responded “romances mostly, lately.” And her reply? “Oh, I love Nora Robert’s books.”

There was more to the conversation, but my dad was just being a jerk after that.

Absolutely. My whole family comes, and some pals. We always have the best time. Nothing quite like minor league ball.

As it’s TTP’s big anniversary signing weekend, lots of ADWOFFERs will be there. ADWOFFERs and SBs, united together over baseball and bobbleheads. Hagerstown will never be the same!

And I have to say, wow. I knew I was excited to be a bobblehead, but didn’t expect so many cool bitches to be excited about it, too.

I want a Nora Roberts bobblehead. I can’t think of a better way to be immortalized forever.

My first thought was: dump work, pack bags – it’s only a hop, skip and a £500-3000-mile-jump from London to Maryland.

The Nora bobblehead is absolutely adorable! Nora! You’ve got to have some of these on hand at the summer picnic/family reunion! Never in the history of our family clan has there been anyone who has gotten a bobblehead made in their likeness.
