Bits O’ News
by SB Sarah | October 10, 2007 | Wednesday at 4:30 pm | 4 CommentsNick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is being made into a movie starring Michael Cera and Kat Dennings. I read this book while I was in labor with Baba O’Riley - so I’m totally doing the happy dance that it’s being made into a film.

Did you love it? I’m so glad you read it!
Dragonette, it’s about two teenagers who’ve recently broken up with their significant others and meet up at a concert in New York and spend the rest of the night wandering the city, falling in love. It’s cowritten by a male and female author, and they trade off chapters—he writes the boy parts, she writes the girl parts. IT’S AMAZING.

Darn! I’m sure it’s good and all, but when I hear “Nick and Norah”, I automatically think “Thin Man”.

N&N is one of the best books I’ve read this year. When I finished it, I flipped back to the first page and started reading it again; it’s just that good.
I’m so excited!
Rachel Cohn likes to play with names in her books—in another series there’s a girl named Cyd Charisse whose parents are Sid and Nancy. So no, nothing to do with The Thin Man, just an inside joke for the old farts.
