Book Letting GoThis podcast is brought to you by Berkley, publisher of #1 New York Times bestselling author Maya Banks’ all-new Surrender trilogy, starting with the explosive LETTING GO!

Josslyn found perfection once, and she knows she’ll never find it again. Now widowed, she seeks the one thing her beloved husband couldn’t give her: dominance. Lonely, searching for an outlet for her grief and wanting only a brief taste of the perfection she once enjoyed, she seeks what she’s looking for at an exclusive club that caters to people indulging in their most hedonistic fantasies. She never imagined that what she’d find would be the one man who’s long been a source of comfort—and secret longing. Her husband’s best friend.

Dash has lived in an untenable position for years: in love with his best friend’s wife but unwilling to act on that attraction. He’d never betray his best friend. And so he’s waited in the wings, offering Joss unconditional support and comfort as she works past her grief, hoping for the day when he can offer her more.

When he finds her in a club devoted to the darker edges of desire, he’s furious because he thinks she has no idea what she’s getting herself into. Until she explains in detail what it is she wants. What she needs. As realization sets in, he is gripped by fierce, unwavering determination. If she wants dominance, he is the only man who will introduce her to that world. He is the only man who will touch her, cherish her…love her. And the only man she’ll ever submit to.

That was a lot of fun – don’t think I’ve read Jessica under any of her names, and will have to fix that. I also like the idea of adding interviews of yours and Jane’s co-bloggers, in addition to more author interviews. Thanks!

I’m having trouble getting the podcast to automatically download to my iPad. Can anybody help me figure out what the right settings are to make it work?

  3. Lindsay says:

I really enjoyed this podcast, it really helped me understand why some authors have so many names—and I absolutely LOVE the Midnight Liasons series as well as the Billionaire Bachelors.

When you mentioned upcoming interviews with reviewers here and at DA I cheered (and scared my cat).

I’m having trouble getting the last few podcasts through iTunes.  Last one it shows is No. 75.  I’m subscribed to podcasts.  I like to listen to the podcasts while I’m working out.  Hope the issue with iTunes gets worked out.  Or if I’m only one having it, wonder what I’m doing wrong.

  5. Jennifer S says:

Well, I at least fixed my problem getting new podcasts.  I unsubscribed and then resubscribed and magically they were all there.  So, yay, I have 3 podcasts to workout to now!

  6. Tabs says:

I think I’m a contrary Jessica Clare fan.  I seem to love what isn’t popular and dislike what is.

I loved the skanky cover of Wicked Games where they’re both in speedo bottom and the chick’s topless.  I can’t get myself to read the rest of the series, though, because the covers scream NA to me even though I know they aren’t and… I just can’t.

Also, my favorite Billionaire book was “The Wrong Billionaire’s Bed” because the billionaire fantasy aspect was played way down.  I liked it so much more than the first two where the guys were arrogant and stalker-y and both accused their heroines of being gold-diggers without anything whatsoever to support that.  I’ll take a low key billionaire playboy who loves boning in the woods over that crap any day.

    Who wouldn’t!?

I’m sorry about the iTunes problems. iTunes is incredibly incommunicative when it comes to podcasts. But, you should be able to unsubscribe and resubscribe to try to nudge it. I’m sorry about the problems!!
