Now that the RITAs are coming out, I just want to say Thank You Sarah for doing the rita reader challenge. It was a lot of fun to read everyone’s reviews, and to write mine. Looking through the pages and pages of reviews I’m stunned by what a monumental task it was. Thanks again for organizing it.

Typo: you have Joanne Bourne, it should be Joanna.
I’ve just gone and ordered several of these books online. And I’m in the middle of reading a brand new Joey W Hill release. Yum!

I think I read more from the nominees in this category than any of the others, though still just a small proportion (3 of 8—His at Night, Last Night’s Scandal, and A Little Bit Wild). Though I liked all three, there’s something about Sherry’s writing that just reaches out and grabs me so I was thrilled she won this (again!)
Thanks to SBTB for the fun coverage, both in this site and your twitter feed. I was following the latter last night to see who was winning!

I read five of the nominated novels in this category (Bourne, Chase, Dahl, James, Thomas) and loved them ALL!
This really was, as Sherry Thomas said in her RITA acceptance speech, the “category of death” this year.
Tough competition, marvelous writing.

I gave it an “A” for a reason. Yeah Sherry!! Although “The Forbidden Rose”... sigh. It like being Solomon & deciding who should get the baby.
