Tess of the Road is a good book, but not the book I expected. Although there are adventures in the book, for the most part it’s a story about healing and forgiveness. Tess doesn’t even start on the road until page 88 and from then on it’s a long journey consisting of Tess considering her past and how she feels about it. There is some romance in it, but it’s not romance-centric. This book is … Continue reading Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman →

We’re nearing the end of the month, which means it’s about that time where we all share what we’ve been reading. We can cheer our reading high points and commiserate over our reading low points. Let it all hang out! Reading-wise, at least. Elyse: I am almost finished with I’ll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara on audio which is excellent. RHG: I just started Hurts to Love You last night, and fortunately … Continue reading Whatcha Reading? March 2018 Edition →

Obviously, our tastes are completely subjective, but we hope you like the discussion! Sarah: Does that look familiar? It reminds me of – oh! Good job, my brain: Amanda: That’s probably why I like it so much. Also when the heck are we going to get Dragon Age 4 news?! Plus, … Continue reading Cover Awe: Dragons, Hats, & More →

As her family plans to … Continue reading Tess of the Road →
