Wild Card by Karina Halle is $2.99! This is the first book in the North Ridge series and I’m really excited about this one. I like Halle’s writing and I really like the cover too. This is a second chance, former friends to lovers romance, which was a huge selling point for many readers. But huge trigger warnings as there’s a backstory of abuse and suicide.

Black Sheep by Zara Cox is $1.99! This is a dark erotic romance and count me interested! This is the second book in the Dark Desires series. It can be read as a standalone and there’s no cliffhanger. Readers say this is a rather intense romance and is not for those looking for a more lighthearted book.

So the heroine of Black Sheep is sleeping with the hero’s father? Can’t say I have seen a romance with that particular complication.

I listened to all the Temeraire books and loved them. I think this was one of the times glomming worked to my advantage. By listening to one right after the other, I didn’t have long waits between books so some of the things that bothered other readers didn’t really bother me. I’ll probably go back and read them in book form at some point.
@Peggy: It’s not just title changes that are doing it. I see books on sale that I *know* I’ve bought through Amazon, but aren’t showing up. But if I do a search through the content manager, they’ll appear. Same author and title name. And I *think* the same publisher in most cases (altho a switch to self-pub does seem to affect it). Special edition ebooks also don’t show up, either. It’s annoying not only because I’m apt to double-buy, but also because I often don’t get credit for the sale price on the corresponding Audible books.

Okay, I was supposed to be on lockdown after a buying spree early this month, but Napoleonic Wars + dragons?? For 99c?? Resistance is futile!
“Cowboys, Erotica & Dragons” – would somebody please get busy and write a book that combines all three? The cowboys can be wrangling dragons or the cowboys can BE dragons, I don’t care.
I’ve read the whole Temeraire series at least five times. I love it so much. So, so much. It may not be for everybody, but it’s so much for me it’s nuts.
Sadly, “Wild Card” is no longer $2.99, and it’s still Aug. 21 here on the West Coast. 🙁
