Links: Pride Reading Recs, Kristen Bell, & Spooky Stories

Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses. It’s Wednesday! And it’s June! When did that happen? I’m back from my trip to New York for Book Expo America and BookCon, and my body is not having it. I apologize in advance is this post turns into a stream of consciousness fever dream!

AudioFile has announced the 2018 Audies winners! You can check out all the finalists and winners from previous years. And I believe they have samples, which is fantastic. I hope you find a new, great audiobook for your listening pleasure!

I’m a huge Amanda Bouchet fan and I’m over the moon excited to see that Frolic.Media is publishing their first romance serial by Bouchet. The story is called “Love at First Baguette” and looks to be a contemporary romance set in France.

I’ve heard of Reddit’s No Sleep before in passing, but after Nicole Cliffe tweeted about this amazing r/nosleep story, I had to read it. It’s a ten-part horror story called Left/Right Game and man, I’m so glad I read this once all the parts were out. I will issue a warning for ableist and offensive language. Oh, and gore. If you read it, let me know what you think! And if you want to recommend other r/nosleep stories, I’d love to have some.

Author Dahlia Adler is recommending some great books for Pride Month! Adler has some other recommendation posts (Foodie Romances! Mental Health!) at Frolic.Media, so be sure to check them all out.

Want to watch Kristen Bell yell at her mom while dangling in the air? I sure do.

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!

Any chance I can talk you into changing Frolic Media in your post to read Frolic.Media? Frolic Media dot com is an erotic film/story/magazine site for women. I actually thought you meant them in your post. 😉
