That’s actually a tough question because I love finding new authors…but I also have faves where I’d love to own physical copies of their books. I’d say a couple known quantities and a couple random mystery picks would be the best. I can’t say anything about genre because I like too many things!

  2. Terri Adele Adele Robinson says:

I just like when knowledge pass books they know and love.

  3. Mariagrazia says:

    Books are my life.
It’s too difficult to chose only one genre, since what I require is a good story well written.
I am partial to classics, being a Literature major.
But really finding new authors wpild be a dream come true!

  4. Theresa says:

My dream box is books that I have not read before! While I would love first editions, if I can get new books, that would be a dream!

  5. DSison says:

Oooh My dream box would contain the newest romance novels by an awesome mix of authors from diverse backgrounds and influences! I have been following recs and leads from several romance authors and readers alike and have come to trust their recs! So far I have not been dissappointed and am always left wanting more. I love contemporary, though am open to subgenres with fantastic and/or paranormal and/or sci fi elements. I’d love to get my feet wet (or get wet period!) to new books and authors I have yet to try. I may likely have purchased some of these titles on a digital format but I’d treasure print copies if ever I’m picked

  6. MinaKelly says:

Yay for open to international residents! My dream box would contain books I can’t wait to share after reading. I read a lot of ebooks these days, and it’s hard when I want to squee about them with other people because “you should read this! but I only have an e-copy and it’s not on sale any more and you don’t have an ereader and hate reading on your phone and though I genuinely believe this one book is worth the cost of a new device and the overinflated price + VAT that mainstream publisher seem to think is reasonable, you’d probably be more likely to try it out if I had physical copy to shove in your hands”. Books most likely to garner this reaction from me are new-to-me authors from diverse backgrounds; books that offer something new and different (even if in a world with better publishing these stories would be as familiar to us as the love story of Duke de MadeUp and Miss Fiesty McCleanTeeth).

Also, I’ve been signed off work for four weeks after elbow surgery, so I’ve made a big dent on my to-read list. With the potential for more surgery on the horizon, my dream box is also a box of good books to read while on strong painkillers (with the bonus of being small/light enough to hold onehanded. Now is not the time for fantasy epics!)

  7. Alex says:

I mostly read historicals, but I also like contemporary and paranormal romance. So, my dream box would be a mix of these genres with A and B graded books I don’t want to put away, because they are awesome.

  8. Avital says:

A mix of paranormal, historical and contemporary. First in series

  9. Naomi says:

Hmmm. A mix of favorites (especially books I’ve borrowed from the library) and books on my TBR list based on recommendations from friends and favorite authors. (Would probably be a mix of various types of romance, SFF, and YA.)

  10. KtB says:

My dream box of books is all of my favorites in the edition that I first read them. So All of the Johanna Lindsay books have to have Fabio on the cover, just so I can giggle every time I pull them out to read them.

  11. AmandaS says:

My dream box of books is probably a box big enough that I could actually just climb inside and read endlessly in peace. Just me in the box, surrounded by stacks of sexy, swoony romance novels. And okay, Henry Cavill can come inside too if he wants 😉

  12. Shevaun says:

My dream box of books would be full of the 1st in ALREADY COMPLETED series that I could just dive into and live in their world for a while.

  13. Suzy K says:

my dream box of books would be more of a shipping container of books.

it would be a mixture of my favorite books, complete series (including future books in those series) and future books that the algorithms have already determined that I’d love to read.

  14. Lizzie R says:

My dream box would be a mix of genres, with lots of 1st in a series thereby ensuring sequel bait.

  15. Alyssa says:

My ideal box of books is a free box of books!

  16. Steph says:

My dream box is a bunch of authors I haven’t heard of yhat I love!

  17. Marissa Backlin says:

I would love the entire series of Anne of Green Gables but all with the same covers/printing. I have the whole series in various covers and different printings and publishers. I love the books and it would be nice to have one complete collection.

  18. Taryn says:

My dream box would be filled with books by authors who are new to me. I buy so many books that I probably already have everything by the authors I know,

  19. DiscoDollyDeb says:

So many choices…but I’d probably go with complete sets of books by my “pantheon” of romance writers: Jackie Ashenden, Anne Calhoun, and Jill Sorenson. Preferably all signed with a personalized inscription to their devoted fangirl. Oh well, I can dream…

  20. Jill Q. says:

Hmm, I think my absolute dream box of books would be older paperback titles. Regency romances, cozy English mysteries from the golden era, gothics. Maybe some Norah Lofts or meaty historical sagas for my mother. All my favorite genres growing up (that are now out of style) and that I trawl used bookstores for.

But I’m happy with any books always 😉

  21. Courtney says:

I’d love a box with a mix of Regencies and contemporaries.

  22. Kate says:

My dream book would be a bunch of firsts in a series that iahave never read that introduce new-to-me authors that I will love.

  23. Sophydc says:

Ooh, that is tough. I would say a mix of books I love and new to me books that are awesome. Preferably authors with backlists I haven’t read who are fantastic! I love finding new authors but I also love re-reading favorites.

  24. Lostshadows says:

My dream box of books is all books I didn’t know I wanted to read, until I read the back cover blurb, by new to me authors.

  25. Qualisign says:

Having only begun reading romance since e-readers became the norm, my dream box of books would be classic romances that haven’t made the e jump yet.

  26. Amy says:

Anything at all would be great!

  27. Rebecca W. says:

My dream box of books would be a bunch of foreign language editions of Jane Austen’s novels – I would love to add to my growing collection!

  28. Kimberly says:

Mostly historicals with a few hockey romances thrown in. If somebody could write me a book about Regency hockey players, that would be ideal!

  29. Jodi says:

My absolute dream box of books would be a mix of foreign language and English novels that are out of print and current fun books that I can read for a little escapism. My work life is super stressful, so fun books that provide another life experience can be super fun. I also love paranormal and BDSM romance (although the fated mate thing in paranormals can get old).

  30. Melissa says:

My dream box of books has a bunch of new to me great authors. I love finding new authors to get excited about so a box full of them would be amazing.

  31. Crystal F. says:

A mix of fairy tales/fairy tale retellings (especially Beauty and the Beast, but other stories as well), historicals, and fun, futuristic sci-fi like C.J. Barry.

  32. Elizabeth says:

I want a magic box that continually refills with ARCs.

  33. Ijin says:

What a tough question! I’d love a box of books that I haven’t read before, preferably all of them with twists to the genre that I haven’t seen yet, with a good mix of historical, contemporary, erotica, sci-fi and fantasy romance.

  34. Ellie says:

I have wanted a complete set of the original UK editions of Harry Potter for a long time. Not necessarily first editions, just the original text. I have read 2 of the series in the British version, and found them even better because they were, idk, more atmospheric.

  35. Kelsey says:

I tend to lean towards paranormal so a mix of historical and contemporary would be awesome.
    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  36. Sarah says:

Ya fantasy, especially if they were all the latest book in any series I follow!

  37. Gigi says:

A box full of books with my favorite tropes and new to me authors would be a dream come true 🙂

  38. Melissa says:

My dream box would be filled with new-to-me Fantasy novels that are exactly suited to my taste. It’d be lovely to just be able to pick something up and know it would whisk me away to another world.

  39. SandyH says:

My dream box would contain new to me historical mysteries or maybe some fantasy books. I need to find some new authors.

  40. Emily says:

I would prefer contemporary and paranormal since that what I have been getting into lately, but I would just be happy with books I have never read before – full stop 🙂
