Help A Bitch Out - SOLVED!

HaBO: Climax Produces a Shower of Flowers

You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This HaBO comes to us from Cindy, who hopes to find this particular romance:

It’s historical.

The main character is a witch. She isn’t very good at being a witch.

She is Irish, I think.

She casts a spell and is transported to someplace else. I don’t remember where.

In the meantime, there is a duke who needs to find a wife and his friends tell him to marry the first woman he looks at or something like that.

Bam! She appears on the street and the duke picks her.

The duke doesn’t know she’s a witch.

The next thing I remember, is a scene where they are stranded in a cottage. They get it on and when she has an orgasm flowers rain over them.

They do get married and have kids.

I’m insanely curious about the hero’s reaction to the flower shower.

  3. Vicki says:

I remember reading this. It was fun.

  4. Liza S says:

Can anyone spoil how the hero reacts to the flowers? I’m dying to know.

  5. Elizabeth says:

It was a rain of pink rose petals.

While I have no idea which book this is, I have to say producing a shower of flowers really must inflict performance anxiety on all who seek orgasm.

  7. Jillian says:

Oh, I love this book!! The heroine’s familiar, Beezle, is hilarious. Highly recommended!

  8. @Liza S – Right? Methinks that it must be the ultimate ego stroke. Like at the pub afterwards he told his friends, “Oh yeah? I made this wench come so hard SHE MADE IT RAIN FLOWERS ALL OVER ME.”

  9. Liza S says:

@Mara – YES! Hahaha. That’s gotta be good for the ego.

The idea of a flower producing orgasm had me curious and I checked Amazon only to find I had purchased this 5 years ago but had not read it, probably because it was one of the 80 pages of content on my Kindle and I had to reset it to original factory settings and lost all that content.

Reading it was certainly entertaining and it was kinda fun to see this stiff Duke become enchanted with pink rose petals. OTOH he could never fake an orgasm.

I liked it so well that I wanted to read the second in the series. Ordinarily, I can’t stand it when an author uses one book to set up another book in the series, but all the accidents the Earl suffered had me curious. So I purchased Dreaming.

Ordinarily, when an author requires me to suspend all my concepts of history, verisimilitude, facts, for a nonsensical story, it will never work for me. But this one did. I laughed and laughed much more so that in Bet=witched. If it might go wrong, it did.

As for what happens when Letty puts on her stockings… The two characters whose name begins with S and I didn’t put ti together until the author strung them together in a sentence…

I am still chuckling over how much I laughed when I read it.
