How darling! It looks just the thing to tote around Shelly Laurenston’s Hot and Badgered… I know it isn’t out until next spring, but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait 😉

  2. Elizabeth says:

Super adorable! I am anxiously waiting for Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie Dao!

  3. CelineB says:

It looks periwinkle to me, but who knows if my computer is showing the same shade you see. No matter what shade it’s called, it’s cute!

I just finished The Highwayman and The Hunter by Kerrigan Byrne and I have an arc of the one coming our next week so I need to get the third and fourth books!

  4. Lisa Brown says:

I would put a novel by Mary Wine in it, even a mystery by Donna Andrews. Thanks for the chance 🙂

  5. Konst. says:

This bag would make a perfect present for my cat-ownig best friend!
Books? I would add Flavia de Luce series for her to enjoy on a rainy afternoon, with a cup of tea and her cat curled in her lap 🙂

  6. LisaJo885 says:

It wouldn’t hold my books, as it’s obviously destined to be a holiday gift for my former boss/friend/client, Katie. She’s a huge cat fan, and regularly buys stuff (okay, she has me buy stuff) from one of those sites that donates meals to animals when you buy animal-themed-stuff. Also, she’s a romance reader and she gave me a bag of assorted books one time that contained a Bertrice Small. I feel like this book screams for a Lilian Jackson Braun.

  7. LisaJo885 says:

Damnit, BAG screams, not book screams. Yeah, it’s 10:30 p.m. Time for bed.

  8. MirandaB says:

That’s a gorgeous bag, and black cats rock! It can carry HardCore 24 by Janet Evanovich.

  9. Ellie says:

I think it shall best carry Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch.

  10. Marissa Backlin says:

Either Dukes Prefer Blondes or The Duchess Deal! 🙂

  11. Diane says:

Trying to think of cat-related romances and all I can come up with (give me a break, it’s early) are the Catherine Coulter regency-era romances that features cat racing. Which I hated. Hmmm. Think I’ll choose my favorite Georgette Heyer and go with Regency Buck.

  12. Rebe says:

Definitely Archangel’s Viper! (That title always makes me think it’s Raphael’s car, but that would most certainly not fit in the handbag….)

  13. Lostshadows says:

It looks to be some shade of light blue on my screen.

At this point, probably Two Serpents Rise, by Max Gladstone. I’m reading Three Parts Dead right now and it’s on sale too. (Actually, the whole series was last I checked, so maybe more than book two.)

Alas, my ereader cover is a dark purple, but it won’t clash.

  14. Amy says:

The new Loretta Chase coming out soon

  15. Ani says:

Texas Heat by Holly Castillo. I need this because, cats.

  16. Kate says:

The new Kristen Cashorn: Jane, Actually. I have been waiting forever for this book, it deserves a new bag!

  17. HollyG says:

Archangels Viper (Nalini Singh) and the new THIRDs novella (Charlie Cochet)

  18. Samantha says:

Oh it’s so cute! Well I guess in honor of the theme I’d have to dig out the old cat racing Johanna Lindsey!

  19. Susan says:

Well, I’m currently rereading/listening to the C.S. Harris’s Sebastian St. Cyr mysteries (there’s even a black cat in the later books) so they would go in. And maybe one of my numerous cat-themed cozy mysteries for good measure.

    Thanks for the giveaway! =^.^=

  20. Karin says:

What a cute kittybag! It would look even better with the entire hidden legacy series in it (I’ve only just discovered it)

  21. Steffi says:

Gosh this is pretty! Cats <3

I just found out that the TRIALS OF APOLLO series by Rick Riordan is firmly set in the PERCY JACKSON universe and even includes some of the characters, so I shall have to buy all of the APOLLO books. My life is hard.

  22. Lynda says:

It’s adorable! Whichever book is closest to me if I win will go on it. Then I will march around the house carrying it like a kid at Christmas.

  23. ARS22 says:

I second the vote for periwinkle, a perfect color to show off the beautiful black cats. I’d purchase This Side of Midnight by Anna Lee Huber to put in this fabulous bag.

  24. Courtney Hunt says:

Looks periwinkle to me. It’s the same shade as my bridesmaids gowns.

I’d pop the new Sarah Morgan in there as this looks like a fun tote to carry around the city.

  25. Carol S says:

The new Gamache novel by Louise Penny.

  26. Sara says:

I am hoping to stock it with the upcoming Elosia James!

  27. Ellie says:

I would will second Steffi in picking Rick Riordan, and put the new Magnus Chase book that I have on pre-order in it. (Have you read those, Steffi? Magnus is Annabeth’s cousin, so there’s a small amount of world cross pollenation going on).

  28. rissatoo says:

I’d put almost ALL my books in it… because I finally am having to upgrade my Kindle. There’s nothing worse than getting comfy for a bit of reading on a Sunday evening and your used-to-be faithful e-reader refuses to turn on. *sigh* At least I had my phone app, but it was a sad moment.

  29. Francesca says:

Black cats are the best! This would be chock-full of my comfort reads: Eva Ibbotson and Kathleen Gilles Seidel. Chemo blows, but it beats the alternative!

  30. SandyH says:

Love the bag. I am wanting to get Archangel’s Viper by Nalini Singh. Also my own DVD of Wonder Woman

  31. Samantha says:

Look at all the kitties! I’m be putting the new K.J. Charles (An Unsuitable Heir) in it for sure as I can foresee myself toting it everywhere until I’ve read it.

  32. JoanneBB says:

My kindle cover is purple, I hope it matches and doesn’t clash. It would hold the next 2 books in my TBR folder, The Thing About Love by Julie James and Karen Memory by Elizabeth Bear.

  33. Peyton says:

Oh, this is so cute! Even though it doesn’t really get cold here in Florida I will channel all my gloomy fall weather feelings!

First book in my bag would be Can’t Hardly Breathe by Gena Showalter.

  34. Margaret says:

It’s periwinkle. I have a copy of 27 Hours that kind of matches.

  35. Cute bag! Thanks for the giveaway.

I’m in the mood to read some holiday romances, like A Snow Country Christmas by Linda Lael Miller or Chasing Christmas Eve by Jill Shalvis.

  36. Sophydc says:

Yup, periwinkle to me. I would pop in the new Eloisa James.

  37. PAMELA says:

I just finished Wallbanger by Alice Clayton, and I think her cat would approve.

  38. Elizabeth says:

I agree, I’d call it periwinkle, and it would be perfect for the new Jenny Colgan “The Bookshop on the Corner” that I just snagged as an e-book.

  39. Molly says:

White Nights by Ann Cleeves (current read), a spare copy of These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer (you never know when you might run into someone who hasn’t met the glorious Georgette and/or the fabulous Duke of Avon), and my chock full ‘o ebooks iPad with its already coordinating cover (in case of emergency need-something-to-read).

  40. Valerie says:

I would stuff it with the 200 or so books on my TBR pile, which are all on my Kindle, fortunately. But I’d definitely start with that Rogue Desire political romance anthology and Cat Sebastian’s books.
