Here’s the description for this special edition:

Subterranean Press is pleased to present, from NYT #1 bestselling author Ilona Andrews, an omnibus of the first three novels in the Innkeeper series. Our edition will be huge (over 760 pages), with an original full-color wraparound dust jacket, as well as full-color and black-and-white interior illustrations by Doris Mantair.

About the Book:

Meet Dina Demille, a nice Texas gal who runs a seemingly ordinary, quaint B&B. But Dina’s inn is a magic, thinking entity; her fluffy Shih-tzu, Beast really is a beast; and her guests are the kind that no one on earth is supposed to know about: guests like a dethroned galactic tyrant with a massive bounty on her head, the Lord Marshal of a powerful vampire clan, and a displaced—and superhot—alpha-strain werewolf.

So don’t expect a normal stay…and don’t stand too close, or you may be collateral damage….

In Clean Sweep, Dina—with the unwanted assistance of newcomer (and alpha werewolf) Sean Evans and Arland, a cosmic vampire soldier—takes on an extraterrestrial killing machine that could destroy her Inn, her neighbors, and everything she holds dear.

Sweep in Peace, finds Dina hosting an anything-but peace summit between three warring intergalactic species; Space Vampires, the Hope-Crushing Horde, and the devious Merchants of Baha-char.

One Fell Sweep sends Dina to the galaxy’s worst penal colony to rescue her sister; and back home to fend off a clan of assassins in pursuit, all while saving a guest’s civilization from annihilation…and searching for her missing parents.

How exciting! I loved Dina and her crew from the Innkeeper Chronicles which I own in two forms, but to win this incredible prize would make me dance and shout like a crazy woman.
I’d like to see one of Robin McKinley”s books illustrated, maybe The Hero and the Crown or Beauty.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. Avengela says:

I would like to see The Goblin Emperor by Katharine Addison with illustrations.

  3. Carolyn H. says:

I would love to see the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews also illustrated. Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Nora says:

    Sabriel by Garth Nix.

  5. KateWeatherwax says:

Ah I just finished the first in this series last night! Serendipity 🙂

As to the books I would love to see illustrated, it should be something lush and descriptive in the fantasy genre, but I’ve always loved Rupert Carsington from Mr Impossible (by Loretta Chase). I think his and Daphne’s adventures in the desert would make for some lovely illustrations.

  6. Emily Sinclair says:

How wonderful! I’d love to see any of the Sarah J Maas A Court of books illustrated, they have such excellent world building

  7. HM says:

Thank you! I’d love to see The Belgariad illustrated.

  8. Susan says:

It would be cool to have illustrated versions of the Jane Yellowrock or Toby Daye series. Thanks!

  9. elianara says:

Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon.

  10. Jaime says:

Oooh, sign me up! I would love to see Elizabeth Peters first Amelia Peabody. Especially Emerson busting his buttons off…….

  11. Stephanie says:

Although I think fantasy is the genre that best fits with illustrations, Alyssa Cole’s An Extraordinary Union was the book that popped into my head first. Maybe because I just finished it and *loved* it.

  12. Shanthi says:

Have to echo the Garth Nix suggestion above – the Old Kingdom series would be lovely illustrated.

  13. I’d love to see an illustrated copy of The Silmarillion.

  14. Jiobal says:

This is gorgeous. I just finished Marie Brennan´s Sanctuary of Wings, which is also illustrated and proves that for some things old fashioned print is just better suited than ebooks. Sarah Maas´ books would probably work very well for this; I´d personally love to see Lois McMaster Bujold´s Curse of Chalion illustrated because it has such a richly imagined world and symbology.

  15. Cherie says:

Darynda Jones’s Charley Davidson series would be fun with illustrations 🙂

  16. Rebe says:

I love the illustrator ‘s work! She is such a talented artist.

I like so many of these suggestions. I would add Anne Bishop ‘s books to the list, either her Others series or her earlier works. Ooooo, and Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs! I love Daniel Dos Santos!

  17. HollyG says:

I would love to see any of Shelly Laurenston books illustrated- especially the Call of Crows series.

  18. Jill R says:

The guild hunter series by Nalini Singh. The angels would be amazing.

  19. GHN says:

There are a number of books that I would love to see in an illustrated edition, but I’ll just mention a couple of items from my comfort-reading shelf, both by Patricia A. McKillip: Her lovely _Riddle-Master trilogy_, and her equally lovely _The Forgotten Beasts of Eld_. The second would be particularly wonderful (if the illustrations are done well) with the wonderful and mysterious beasts the title refers to.

  20. CG says:

The illustrations in the photos look so pretty.

I have to agree with the person who said Sarah J. Maas, I would love an illustrated version of the Court of Books. The Stolen Luck by Shawna Reppert would also make a good illustrated book I think.

  21. Frances says:

Wow ! What a beautiful book and one I really covet as Ilona Andrews is my favourite author. Several times I have checked out the site from which the book is available and tried to convince myself I can afford to buy it. To win it would be awesome but whoever does win it will be getting a really great addition to their Ilona Andrews collection. I believe the Ilona Andrews writing team are outstanding in their world building and characterisation but, for me, the real magic that underpins their writing is the humanity and wisdom that comes through.

I would love to see an illustrated edition of the first two or three of Anne McCaffrey’s Dragons of Pern. I think the almost medieval living conditions, dragon riders, harpers, hatching grounds, and most especially the dragons would all lend themselves to a terrific illustrated edition.

  22. Mara says:

I’d love to see their Kate Daniels series illustrated. All of the monsters and shape shifters and fights? Yes please!

  23. Diana says:

Probably Crown Duel/Court Duel by Sherwood Smith. That would be so cool!

  24. grits201 says:

The Andrews’ Edge series would be awesome illustrated. Or Lisa Kleypas’ Wallflower series.

  25. Kelsey says:

I would love to see the Ilona Andrew’s Kate Daniels series or Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series turned into illustrated series….that is artwork I can appreciate.

  26. Sukari says:

Katherine Arden’s The Bear and the Nightingale or Naomi Novik’s Uprooted. So much atmosphere.

  27. Emily says:

Hmm, there are a lot of books I’d like to see illustrated! Since we’ve had so much Robin McKinley on here lately, maybe Spindle’s End? I think it’s got some really good scenes for lush fantasy illustrations.

  28. Darlynne says:

What a great edition and thanks for the giveaway. Seanan McGuire’s Toby Daye series would inspire extraordinary illustrations.

  29. CatG says:

I would love to see GA Aiken’s Dragon Actually illustrated because dragons. And of course Annwyl the Bloody.

  30. Cheryl McInnis says:

That is a beautiful book! I’d love to see The Kingmaker Chronicles by Amanda Bouchet or Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series made into an illustrated series.

  31. K.N. O'Rear says:

Any book in Roberta Gellis’s Rosalyde Chronicles.

  32. Ellen says:

The Kushiel’s Dart series would make a beautiful illustrated series (but it might be NSFW!)

  33. Megan says:

I’d love to see an illustrated version of Gwenda Bond’s Lois Lane series (Fallout, Double Down, Triple Threat)

  34. BaldChris says:

Kushiel’s Dart series by Jacqueline Carey would be sublime, could be sensual, beautiful and terrifying all at once.

  35. Make Kay says:

Fantasy books lend themselves best to illustration, I think.
    How about Lynn Kurland’s books?
    Or Grave Draven!!

  36. I’d love the see an illustrated edition of Katherine Addison’s The Goblin Emperor. I mean, the cover of it already promises a magical experience. Love!

  37. Laurel says:

Keeping with Ilona Andrews, how about an illustrated version of the Kate Daniels series?

  38. Becca says:

I’d love to see the Edge books by Ilona Andrews illustrated.

  39. Pat3 says:

I would love to see Master of Crows by Grace Draven or Heyer’s These Old Shades.

  40. Marci says:

I agree about the Sarah J. Maas Court series. Also Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones and Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova.

Thanks for another awesome giveaway. Those illustrations are beautiful.
