This HaBO comes from Zil, who wants to find this New York-set contemporary romance:
The heroine is a woman who was married in New York to a wealthy man. They had a great apartment. They file for divorce and she finds a terrible apartment above a restaurant . Having to find a job, she ends up working in real estate. She meets a guy, but he’s also a jerk. After the divorce, the heroine ends up with the nice apartment she had shared with her husband, and she ends up showing it.
That’s all I can remember. I lent the book to someone and never got it back. I’ve been trying to find the title for about 15 years.
I hope the heroine makes a huge commission on the sale of that apartment.
Hey Amanda, as this is currently written it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Could you please clarify?
@Kitkat9000: My understanding is that the heroine was married to a wealthy man in NY. She didn’t have to work and they had a great apartment. They divorce. She’s jobless, but gets the apartment in the divorce. She becomes a real estate agent and winds up putting the apartment on the market and showing it.

I feel like this is my answer to every HABO, but I swear Linda Lael Miller has written a non-western along these lines.
If it is High Maintenance I highly recommend that Zil not bother reading it again because I consider that one of the worst books I’ve ever read.
