Linden never, ever skimps on the communication aspect, especially when she’s worked a Big Misunderstanding into the plot. And this Big Misunderstanding is pretty freakin’ big – James thought there was time before they needed to get married, Olivia thought James had left her, and the ramifications of not using all of their words are huge. (Mostly this is on James’ head – he’s a dude, so in this scenario he has all the power.) It takes time and communication to sort through the mess before they can even begin to contemplate a HEA.
Olivia Townsend is in trouble and out of options. A Lady and Her Magic
A Lady and Her Magic by Tammy Falkner is $1.99! This is a historical romance with fantasy elements, though the angle of the heroine on the cover is annoying the heck out of me. The heroine is also a fairy godmother of sorts. Some readers disagreed about the fantasy elements in the book. There were those that loved it, while others thought there was too much.

A second chance, house party, holiday story by Meredith Duran? Sweetest Regret was just added to my holiday TBR file.
I really love Meredith Duran’s books, and I find that they fall into two categories: dark, angsty, rip-your-heart-out-and-leave-you-sobbing (At Your Pleasure, holy shit that book was amazing); or light and fluffy (Your Wicked Heart). I enjoy them both, but I like to know what I’m getting into before I start them so I can fortify myself if they’re the first variety. If anyone in the Bitchery has had a chance to read Sweetest Regret, can you tell me which category it falls into? Based on the holiday house party setting, I would guess light and fluffy, but the title and cover have me doubting my judgment.
Secrets of a Soprano by Miranda Neville is .99 everywhere. I like Neville’s books, but I have seen some reviews that say this book isn’t the quality of other Neville books.
Is it nit picky of me to say that it bothers me when people say flaunt society when they mean flout society?

Princess and the Pea was originally released in 1996. I probably have the original paperback somewhere, but I can’t put my hands on it at the second.
Dread Pirate Rachel, Sweetest Regret is light and semi-fluffy. There is regret and a sense of betrayal, but since it’s a novella, there’s no space for extended, sob-enducing angst. Hope that helps.
Does anyone know what anthology The Sweetest Regret was originally published in?

Unwrapping Her Perfect Match by Kat Latham is free right now. Novella length installment of her rugby series, but stands well by itself. I read it last year, it’s pretty good.
