  • The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire

The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper

The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper is $1.99 at most vendors! This is third book in the Half-Moon Hollow paranormal romance series, though the books can be read as standalones. Readers loved the humor mixed in with the romance, while others complained about the insta-love. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads.

In the next book in Molly Harper’s beloved Half Moon Hollow paranormal romance series, Gigi starts her first job (at Vampire Headquarters), gets over her first love, and may even fall for her first vampire!

Gigi is no longer an innocent teen. All grown up and looking for love, her family and friends worry she’ll go for the sexy, alluring vampire instead of a nice, safe human. But sexy and alluring, with a penchant for biting, could be just what Gigi wants…

  • The Gamble

    The Gamble by Kristen Ashley

The Gamble by Kristen Ashley is $3.99! It seems like most of her books are on sale for that price as well, if you wanted to stock up. This is also the first book in her Colorado Mountain series, which seems to mostly be a contemporary romance with suspense elements. New readers of Ashley had a few minor complaints about getting used to her writing style, but overall people couldn’t get enough of the emotional rollercoaster set in a small, snowy town. It has a 4.2-star on GR.

Love is the greatest gamble of all…

Nina Sheridan desperately needs a timeout vacation. With a fiancé who can’t even remember how she takes her coffee, Nina wants some distance to rethink her engagement. Flying halfway around the world from England to a mountain town in Colorado should do the trick. But when she finds a gorgeous man at her rental cabin, Nina’s cold, lonely adventure suddenly heats up.

The owner of the house, Holden “Max” Maxwell is surprised by the beautiful woman who turns up at his door. But when Nina becomes ill, Max spends days nursing her back to health. A private man with a broken heart, Max finds himself drawn to the strong-willed woman. Soon it becomes impossible for Nina and Max to deny their growing attraction to one another. Yet even as these two wounded lovebirds think about taking a chance on a relationship, a dangerous secret from Max’s past emerges-and threatens to end their love for good.

  • Alice in Zombieland

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter is 99c! This is a retelling of Alice in Wonderland, though Carrie didn’t quite like it as much as she thought she would. Though the idea was neat, the execution didn’t follow through and she gave the book a C-. Have you read this one? What did you think?

She won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever.

Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. But that’s all it takes. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.

Her father was right. The monsters are real.

To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies.

  • Inside Out

    Inside Out by Maria Snyder

Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder is $1.99! This is the first book in the YA Insiders series. I haven’t read this one, but I loved Snyder’s Poison Study series and recommend her writing. Readers on Goodreads say that if you liked Scott Westerfeld’s The Uglies, you’ll like this book’s dystopian setting. However, there are some complaints that the first half of the book is a bit slow.

    Keep Your Head Down.

    Don’t Get Noticed.

    Or Else.

I’m Trella. I’m a scrub. A nobody. One of thousands who work the lower levels, keeping Inside clean for the Uppers. I’ve got one friend, do my job and try to avoid the Pop Cops. So what if I occasionally use the pipes to sneak around the Upper levels? The only neck at risk is my own…until I accidentally start a rebellion and become the go-to girl to lead a revolution.

Inside Out was fantastic, the big reveal was excellent, I didn’t enjoy Outside In so much, I never saw the third one if there was one but I recommend this.
