Giveaway: The Outback Bachelor Ball Survival Pack

Sarah Mayberry, Karina Bliss, and Joan Kilby have a new trilogy of contemporary romances, and to celebrate, they’re giving away Outback Bachelor Ball Survival Packs.

Y’all, it includes Tim Tams and chocolate from New Zealand. WOOT!

The Outback Bachelor Ball Survival Pack - includes a tote, chocolate, cookies, a mouse pad, and books!

As Mayberry put it, “We are creating prize packs to give away to celebrate the launch of The Outback Bachelor Ball Series. There’s a tote bag, a mouse mat with hot men on it, Tim Tams, delicious New Zealand chocolate, and e-copies of all three books: Win Me, Woo Me, and Wait for Me.

Karina Bliss also told me that, “the action in the novellas happens simultaneously so there are no spoilers if you read the books out of order.” Nice, huh?  No matter which you read first, it’s all good.

Here’s some information about each story:

Win Me

Book 1: Win Me by Joan Kilby

Feisty, fearless Ellie McFarlane has tried forever to get cattle station manager, Rick Drummond, to notice she’s not another cowhand. So when her gal pals talk her into glamming up for an Outback Bachelor and Spinster ball she’s eager to prove she’s all woman, all the time, and leave her boneheaded cowboy eating dust.

Sexy wrangler Rick is crazy about Ellie just as she is but her father – his boss – told him long ago that his daughter was off limits. Even though she’s all grown up now, Rick still feels it’s his job is to protect her, not seduce her. Plus, he’s finally got an opportunity to buy back his family farm which means moving far away.

Ellie’s transformation from Cinder-Ellie to belle of the ball has Rick’s jaw dropping – and all the other cowboys falling at her feet. Ellie tries to revel in her new-found sex-pot status but without Rick it’s a hollow victory. Has Rick left it too late to claim the only woman he’ll ever truly love….

Woo Me

Book 2: Woo Me by Karina Bliss

Can true love overcome a bad hide day and a series of unfortunate events?

Disillusioned in love, Jen Tremaine is done with men. So when her best friends dare her to wear a cow costume to their reunion at an Outback Bachelor & Spinster Ball, she’s all over it. Who would have thought dressing as a heifer would make her irresistible to a bunch of lasso-twirling, drunken cowboys?

Maybe you should have thought this through, says the sexy security guard who keeps finding her at the center of trouble. Even though Jen’s always dismissed soul mates as a load of bull, the sizzle between them is making her wonder: What if you met The One while wandering lonely as a cow? Would you find the courage to become a believer?

When ex-Special Forces soldier Logan Turner is roped into helping out with security at the B&S ball, he isn’t expecting to find love – but after months in all-male company he sure is hoping for lust. He certainly isn’t expecting to fall for a feisty, funny, trouble-making Cowderella. Only problem is, she’s leaving Australia tomorrow. Convincing Jen they can still have a future together may wind up being the toughest mission of his life.

Wait For Me

Book 3: Wait For Me by Sarah Mayberry

Beth Walker hasn’t just been burned by her philandering country music star ex, she’s been barbecued to a crisp. Coming home to Australia and into the arms of her best friends is exactly the balm she needs. Cocktails and laughter at an Outback Bachelor and Spinster Ball seem like the perfect distraction. Until she bumps into the last person she wants seeing her heartsick and pathetic – Jonah Masters, rising country music star and witness to the failure of her marriage. If only she’d met Jonah first. Now she’s broken and won’t ask him to wait until she heals.

Jonah can’t believe he and Beth are finally standing under the same stars. The connection they shared on the road years ago has haunted him but he wasn’t going to pursue a married woman. Now she’s free, and Jonah can’t refuse the one night Beth impulsively offers. Can he convince the woman he’s always loved that he’ll wait – however long it takes – for her trust?

  1. Jen G. says:

I love Karina Bliss and Sarah Mayberry, but haven’t read anything by Joan Kilby. I’m definitely going to check out her book! (Also, all giveaways should involve TimTams.)

  2. Tam says:

Not sure why NZ chocolate’s included in a giveaway for Aussie books (they’re about as geographically close to each other as England and Syria) but I’m not going to nitpick because it’s Whittaker’s, and I still remember the gloriousness of their peanut bars.

  3. SB Sarah says:

@JenG: I think you’re right. Tim Tams should be a required element to all giveaways.

  4. Kareni says:

What fun! I’d be happy to snack and read particularly when the snacking involves chocolate and cookies (er, biscuits!).

  5. denise says:

Sarah’s book! I love that you can buy two varieties of TimTams at Target!

  6. Brenda G. says:

“Wait For Me” sounds like a good one because I want to Beth seems to know what it is like to love and is learning to love again.

  7. flchen1 says:

How positively delicious! Can’t wait for this Down Under treat 😉 I’ve read stories by all three of them, and look forward to these!

  8. Katie Lynn says:

    You had me at TimTams.

(they sell them at Target again, y’all. Under the Arnott’s name this time, not Pepperidge Farm)

  9. Darlynne says:

I have spent a lot of money at World Market on Arnott’s Tim Tams and the mint variety as well. There may be one in my cupboard as we speak, but I don’t dare open it; I must be strong.

    Thank you for the contest.

  10. Karina Bliss says:

Tam, you’re absolutely correct. NZ and Australia are not geographically connected. I’m the token Kiwi in the mix (and my heroine’s a New Zealander). And any excuse for Whittakers.

  11. Kate K.F. says:

Whittakers! I lived in New Zealand for three years and I loved their chocolate so much. This is a great giveaway.

  12. Tam B. says:

Wow books set at a B&S – you do know the alternative name for a B&S is Beer & Sex. (Kind of describes it accurately in most cases.)

If I managed to win, I’ll happily leave the Tim Tams to someone in the USA – here in Oz there is practically an aisle of them in SO MANY flavours. Hmmmm – I think I may be detouring to the supermarket, soon.

  13. This: “ex-Special Forces soldier Logan Turner”

Anyone else remember the Australian SF soldier who was the International Jack Reacher lookalike winner at RT 2014 in New Orleans? He was amazing! My aunt went up to cuddle with him during the photo session after his workshop with Lee Child, and someone asked “Where’s the camera” and she said, “Oh, I don’t have one, I just wanted to touch him.” Of course that’s now a family joke!

    These sound great!
