It’s book 2 in the “Castles Ever After” series after Romancing the Duke . Elyse reviewed this book and gave it a B+, saying she loved the sharp, business-minded heroine, and the portrayal of the hero.

The Chocolate Touch
RECOMMENDED: The Chocolate Touch by Laura Florand is still marked down to $2.99 – and usually this book is up near $9. Yay for sales! This contemporary romance was a Sizzling Book Club pick in September 2013. For many, Florand is an auto-buy author and the descriptions of chocolate were downright dangerous. A few readers felt that some scenes dialed up the angst too high, but the book maintains a 4-star rating on GoodReads.

Darling Beast
RECOMMENDED: Darling Beast by Elizabeth Hoyt is still $1.99 on sale. This book seven in the Maiden Lane historical romance series, and hinted at a Beauty & the Beast theme. Elyse and Redheadgirl did a joint review of the book and gave it an A-:
Elyse: For me it’s a solid B+. It was a good read, but lacked the Beauty and the Beast storyline I really wanted. Also Plot Moppets. And questionable choices on Apollo’s part.
Oh, there are great sex scenes though!
So…maybe A-?
