RITA Reader Challenge: Calling All Reviewers

Gold dude holding gold starJust a little RITA® Reader Challenge update!

We're missing a lot of reviews, and with two weeks left, we have a lot of books to cover. We may not get to them all, but that's the goal, and we need your help. If you haven't turned in a review, and don't think you can, just let us know. It's cool – knowing is half the battle in this case.

If you see a book that hasn't been reviewed and you think you can review it, please sign up and let us know that you're on. Our goal is one review for each book, and we want to accomplish the challenge this year.

Titles in red have had no reviews turned in yet, so those are the priority!

The RITA's are announced July 26th, meaning all reviews need to be in and posted by then!

(And Sarah will be live-blogging the RITAs as she did last year – come one, come all, bring drinks.)

For those who have turned in reviews so far, you've been a HUGE (I'm talking mega) help and you're all greatly appreciated.

As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me or Sarah.

Here's a link to our schedule! Names in italics are reviews that have been turned in and those that are crossed out have been posted.

  5. Amanda says:

@Rebecca: Usually, I’ll respond to the reviews I receive. So if you don’t hear anything from me (or Sarah) in a day or two, definitely send it again!

  6. Turophile says:

Just resent my review of Sleighbells in the snow.

  7. Amanda says:

    @Turophile: You’re all set! 🙂

  8. ReneeG says:

I’ve got Demon Hunting in a Dive Bar.  I won’t be able to get it in until the weekend, however.

  9. Just sent reviews of Defending Truth and Take What You Want.

  10. Emily A. says:

I’m still working on my review which is due on Sunday July 20th. I am working hard on it, and I may have it for you before then. (Probably Thursday.)

  11. Mina Lobo says:

“Demon Hunting in a Dive Bar” and “Immortally Ever After” look like fun, I’ll take ‘em both on, because YOLO, as the youth say. Or said, that’s probs so 2012 by this point, yeah?

  12. Amanda says:

As long as we get them and are able to post them before the 26th, don’t stress about deadlines.

  13. Kate K.F. says:

I’ll take Witch Bound as I’ve been wanting to do more reviews and have enough of an iTunes’ card left for it. I’ll try to get it out to you by the end of the week.

  14. syaffolee says:

Sorry about the delay! I’ve just sent off my review for His Clockwork Canary.

  15. Evelyn Alexie says:

I signed up to review Promise to Return.

I’ll take Immortally Ever After or whatever one you need

  17. Kelly S. says:

I’m very sorry!  I read both of the books I signed up to review, but haven’t written the reviews yet.  Luckily, I was batting backup and the first person who signed up for each, did turn in reviews.

  18. SB Sarah says:

Thank you everyone for your help and willingness to pitch in! This year is particularly difficult, what with the number of books in contemporary and historical, so I really, really appreciate it!

  19. Cate M. says:

Mine is due on the 20th, but you’ll actually probably get it today. It’s written, I just need a toddler-free afternoon to proof it. Yay preschool. 🙂

  20. aorist says:

I signed up just now to take up Promise to Return but it appears that someone else has it.  I’ll still read and submit something for the fun of it.
