This is the seventh book in Singh's popular Guild Hunter series and it won't be released until October. Obsession Untamed by Pamela Palmer is $2.99! This is the second book in the Feral Warriors series and features a romance between an FBI agent and a shapeshifter named Tighe (naturally). Readers recommend tackling the series in order, rather than reading them as standalone novels. The cover model also reminds me of Ivan Drago from Rocky IV, which happens to be my favorite. The book has a whopping 4-star rating on GR! My guess is that it has everything to do with the Drago doppelganger.

Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost is $1.99! This is the start of her Night Prince paranormal romance series. Our hero is a vampire named Vlad (Yes, the very Vlad from Frost's Night Huntress series) with the crazy scary ability to control fire and a heroine with the affinity for electricty. Readers loved the blend of action and intimacy, but some felt the book started to slow during the second half. Has anyone else read this one?

The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas is $1.99. Our lone historical, this was brought to our attention by the awesome Clinic Cynic on Twitter. Cat nip alert for those who are interested in marriages of convenience! Readers absolutely loved the dialogue, as did our resident Carrie S. However, she wound up giving the book a C+:

Some books are good books that are extra enjoyable because they hit one of my emotional buttons. Some books that are good books in technical terms completely fail to give me “good book sigh” because they hit triggers instead. The Luckiest Lady in London is proving to be my least favorite Sherry Thomas book because it hits my emotional triggers in the wrong way.
