Happy Star Wars Day - Harlequin Acquisition Style

I was feeling a bit silly this morning – ok, a lot silly this morning – and the house was quiet and I had a computer. Happy Star Wars Day in the post Harlequin acquisition announcement universe!

  1. Lisa J says:

Absolutely perfect.  It sums up my feelings.

  2. Thank you!

But that billionaire’s way too young and good looking to be the billionaire we got … I suppose he’s just the billionaire we wish we got? A Ruthenian prince? What about three brothers from that country where they only take one wife? Can’t they use their fortune to acquire Harlequin?

But yes, all Harlequin authors look as svelte as that blonde. Absolutely, we all lounge on fabulous tropical balconies – b/c we make so much in royalties from our “bodice-rippers” that we don’t even need the billionaires.

  3. SB Sarah says:

This makes me wonder if anyone has done an economic analysis of all the mythical countries from Harlequin Presents world, comparing their GNP and other key financial elements.

Also: now that I look closely, I think I own that dress in a coral color, and it’s from H&M!

  4. LenoreJ says:

Rupert Murdoch has never looked so good, or is it Lachlan?

  5. Mzcue says:

On this auspicious occasion of Star Wars Day, Neil deGrasse Tyson tweeted out a jolly wish: “May the 4th be with you all.”
